"First of all, this restaurant tells you they dont make reservations outside, where you want to sit in the summer days naturally. First question they ask is Do you have a reservation? No, it was not possible! Then we waited for ages for a menu...which did not come, so we grabbed it from one table. When we finally had the chance to ordered, we waited and waited for drinks and a gazpacho arrived earlier than drinks. Drinks finally arrived and then we waited for ages for the main course.. risotto with herbs very average, pasta with Mushrooms quite good, wine very average.. What makes it here beautiful is the place. Everything else just bad bad bad."

Lovely spot, with great views. Well furnished, very welcoming. Service was ok. We had a pleasant tartare as a starter, disappointing meat as a main... A lovely Riesling but didn't love the Pinot noir. We definitely suggest to go for the setting.

To be fair, I have not stepped foot in the place in 2 years but I wouldn't recommend going here for a meal. Its too expensive and the service is not great. I have worked with Bootshaus professionally and I have found them to be...very snobby, inflexible, and just not worth the money. Gave them two stars because the facility and location are very nice

Sitting outside is nice and the food is good. The wine is very pricey and the Food is little expensive, especially considering the other local restaurants. There also isn't a wide selection of meals but the meals my partner and I had were both delicious....Staff were friendly but inattentive, for example we weren't asked if we wanted refills. Three stars, almost four. I would come here again and would recommend it but there are other options around which id go to.

This restaurant was located next to the river with a very nice view. But the food was a bit average. I ordered salmon and my colleague ordered Wiener Schnitzel (veal). The food was ok but not excellent. The staff was nice when they were taking...orders and serving us the dishes. But when we arrived, they did not take us to the table and just let us pick anyone. It seems that they were not so care about customers (I heard this restaurant is one of the most popular restaurants there)

We went there on a Friday for Lunch. The menu was salmon with blini for starters, fish and chips as a main and Creme brûlée for desert. It was one of the biggest disappointments I experienced recently. Besides the really cool venue the food was...not what you expect from a restaurant like this. The stuff was overextended and I had way better fish and chips rustic snack bars. In addition I found a hair at my dish. Disappointing experience especially if you consider the prices at this place! The food is good, maybe even very good. But from a restaurant that was created by a celebrated chef, you expect more. Much more. The service is friendly and pish posh, but that also is not the point. For these prices you expect more refined...tastes. And if you order a medium steak, it should not be rare. And the fish should taste like fish, but not fishy. We told the waiter and he said he would check this out aaaand...nothing was said of this again. And, yes, I would expect an amuse-gueule there, given that many many other restaurants do this nowadays. It was supposed to be a special evening and it really was not.

"we thought it was time that four years ago opened patagonia in the mainzer neustadt to test. the bus and tram connection is excellent, the parking situation is very difficult. there is an outside area at the restaurant, and the dining room is large and clear. because the guests were distributed outside and inside, the reservation about opentable would not have been necessary. so we were allowed to choose a table and were welcomed by the two ladies in the service friendly. we found a rectangle with a view of a large flatscreen, on which a diashow of pictures ran from patagonia, which first triggered television. steaks are offered in all variations, and the selection is quite difficult. we first took three empanadas with different fillings that relatiw quickly came out of the kitchen and taste very good.My wife decided in the main course for a rumpsteak of the even medium rare with grill potatoes and salad. I had previously researched the card in the internet and asked myself what a flap steak was. wikipedia helped and so I knew it was a cut that is very common in patagonia and comes very close to the us sirloin strip. I wanted to try this and ordered it **** in the bloom. I took a foil potato. both supplements were handed with the obligatory sourcream with coriander. the two supplemental salads were fresh, colourful and crisp, with the carrots also liked as a supplement. Even with critical consideration, the performance was in all respects of expectations: the services were extremely friendly and stood also in the meat selection with rat and did the side. the we chose to be perfectly met. confusingly I found the hints in the menu on the recommended per steak. these were all together and especially between medium and well done. that was not comprehensible for me because of the top quality of meat, all in all a very successful evening with a quite reasonable price-performance ratio. we like to come back to patagonia."
