"When I first entered it was packed. So I took the time, returned later and got me a nice table. This place is in the basement and its front door not just looks, but indeed is old-fashioned. Let this not bother you. This place is of a unique quality. It has been there for decades I could bet) and still breathes the spirit from its founding years. It is run by Croatians as far as I could tell. These kinds of Dalmatian or Yugoslavian restaurants in general used to be quite common in Germany but now have mostly vanished as public taste has changed. The premises are being decorated with Dalmatian memorabilia. The interior is plain, dark-painted wood on white-washed walls, white table-linen, all well-kept. The waiters wear black trousers along with white ironed shirts. Quite classic. But foremost important, of course, is the choice of food. The Croatians or rather the Yugoslavians in general) are experts for preparing meat dishes, as far as I could tell from own experience. And that 's what you can expect here. You can have all the classics of Yugoslavian cuisine, along with some house specialties with cute names Husarenspiess or Hussar 's skewer). Again, a flavour from way back when such items were common on menues. Originally I was set upon eating steak that night, but eventually chose the Hausteller Dalmatien Plate of the House), a choice of pork, beef and lamb in various preparations. The meat was just delicious, perfectly grilled to the point, yet done in a very traditional fashion, no fancy stuff, just pure grilled meat, good french fries and coleslaw. As a child, I 've been to Yugoslavia many times and this is just the way you would eat there. I was in the mood to try some more and ordered Palatschinken for dessert, 3 pancakes filled with liquid chocolate, again some dish very typical for both Austria and Yugoslavia. My expectations were high after the main course and again, the kitchen fulfilled them. I was very satisfied and would recommend this place at any time. The food is very good, prices are very reasonable, the atmosphere is nice and relaxed. If you like eating out the Oldschool way, go there."

Sind schon häufiger hier vorbeigekommen, war immer sehr gut besucht. Nun zum ersten Mal zum Abendessen vorbeigeschaut und ich muss sagen, habe schon wesentlich besseres gegessen: alles sehr stark gewürzt (besonders viel Salz, alles sehr durchgebraten, Bedienung auch unfreundlich/genervt.

Our favourite Bosnian restaurant in neighbouring Cologne has closed so we were very happy to find this restaurant whilst wandering around Bonn. I had Bosnian Pork and my partner had Zagreb chicken. Both served with salad and french fries with a shot of a fruit liquor to start. Huge portions and good prices.

This restaurant serves a lot of different dishes from Eastern Europe. The menu was very diverse, different types of meat and fish. The prices are really honest. The food was delicious and the plates where more than full. I think its impossible to leave hungry. I would definitely recommend this place to other people, especially if you like meat.

Traditional Balkan dishes! Huge portions, friendly people and Croatian music. All you can find on this place. Accidentally bumped at restaurant and had to check it out! "It's Monday, and my wife and I have a reason to celebrate. But where on Monday night? „Monday Ruhetag“ we read on numerous restaurant pages on the Internet – also in the further Hennefer district. But who seeks to find – and indeed the Bonneria, a Spanish restaurant in Bonn-Beuel, within a range of just 20 kilometres. Vamos! The Bonneria is located in a residential and business district in the heart of Bonn-Beuel. Parking search can be problematic here, the parking spaces in the surrounding streets are usually occupied. A parking space which can be used from 18.00 h in the courtyard of the residential and commercial building, on the ground floor of which the restaurant is located, is small and also quickly occupied. We're lucky and find a narrow car park for our companion. It is warm on this 6th of September, and we have already telephonicly explored whether we have a chance at the 18.00 h on a table on the restaurant's garden terrace, which is next to the parking lot in the yard. The Bonneria does not accept a reservation for the terrace. Our chance of a table at this time is taxed by a service employee to 95 percent on the phone. We can choose a table on the spacious terrace, a handful of tables is occupied. We choose a two table on the back glass front of the guest room, have free views into the restaurant interior: lots of wood, partly leather-related armchair, tapas bar-flair. It takes a whole while not adapted for cakes and digestif until the sweet temptation and the perseverance are on our table. Pastel de chocolate But waiting was worth it. The chocolate cake tops the expectations of my loved ones: warm, fluffy, with delicate melted core, complemented by the ice cream with thick walnut pieces and the not so sweet cream. Perfecto! Aquavit Contrary to the often usual type of serving in the iced glass, the Aquavit is cooled under room temperature, but not served in the deeply tempered Aquavit glass. So my Dorade gets more of the aroma. We let our young jovial man know that dessert was very, yes very tasty. In general: With the performance of the kitchen we are more than satisfied, four stars. The cleanliness tables, cutlery and dishes are clean and the terrace is well maintained. We weren't in the guest room and not in the toilets. We also do not know whether the menage – wooden pepper and salt mill – which we have requested in retrospect, has been treated according to the current hygiene rules. Therefore, the assessment of cleanliness remains open. The price-performance ratio service and kitchen performance are quite okay except for small items.
