"I came on the recommendation of my hostess at the Dakini B&B and was not disappointed; the friendly waitress was clear about the restaurant essentially specialising in local Swiss food and I tried Zürcher Geschnetzelte with rosti for the first time and was not disappointed it was absolutely delicious and perfectly done. I also had the restaurant's special chocolate cake. I would definitely go back; the atmosphere was very welcoming and it was clearly frequented by locals."

I can recommend this place to anybody. It’s down to earth food with high quality in a gentle nice atmosphere. Prices are very moderate also for the wine. Pascal the owner is a great host. If you go here, try the Zurich geschnetzeltes, it will be the best you’ve ever had! OMG

The Eichhörnli is a local restaurant in down town Zurich District Nr. 4. with a traditional and classy menu, kind of home cooking style but also very seasonal. The price vs value is great, as Zurich is known for its high prices. I really can recommend this restaurant with its cosy atmosphere always great food and friendly service.
