"Lovely Normandy restaurant, fairly close to my sisters home and about 20 minutes from Giverny. The Restaurant Gabriel looks “French” from the outside but more Scandinavian modern in the inside with one large room with 60’s wood and Formica tables. Though the room is large it is quite and somehow manages to feel intimate with 60-70s music playing softly in the background. The service was impeccable and the presentation very pleasing to the eye. They promote the products of the region through local producers so everything is fresh. We were each served a delicious cold green pea soup served in a parfait glass. I ordered one of their Menu options, they have several along with a few Ala Cart options. My starter was a shrimp cocktail, again presented beautifully and very tasty. My pork dish was divine and presented on a bed of an incredible chopped mushroom dish. My menu included the appropriate wine accompaniment, which was the only disappointment of the evening – light not full bodied. My sister ordered the filet mignon, again the presentation was lovely however she found the meat touch (she thought it fresh beef rather than aged). Her starter was an absolutely fantastic Foie gras. My brother-in-law’s selection was the steak tartare which he said he would order again. Another lovely evening in Normandy. Price range 30E to 75E including wine."

"Even if the industrial environment, in a warehouse outside the A13 motorway, is not a dream spot for a head-to-head in love, the meal makes you forget everything. It's been three times since we've discovered this restaurant thanks to the Normandy Gourmand Passport, and every time we're happy again. Come and taste a poached foie gras or lobster ravioli, a rossini beef or a rossini burger. You will surely find your happiness!!!!"

"we booked this hotel for a Sunday to Monday. we booked the room with a cook special menu for two. we booked the room for children) at the arrival no one was there, but the key was ready at the entrance. when we arrived in our room, it was easy what is good, but full of flying. dozens. the double bed on my side was sleepy, so I didn't sleep well, but the worst for us was dinner or missing. it turns out that the restaurant is closed on Sundays and the dinner was served in our room this was unexpected (although it was in the fine print the restaurant was closed, my mistake), far too late for my children and we were on the street all day and only for two people. we canceled the dinner. the owner was very friendly and apologetic, even tried to pull the diner forward, but we were too disappointed and tired we chose this hotel before the arrival especially for the restaurant and the authentic building. I think the hotel would have reached us in the evening when we made the reservation, but maybe only I can definitely wait some maintenance, but it's nice breakfast was in order everything in everything we were not satisfied, and that's really too bad because I think the potential is there."

"we were immediately greeted by a very friendly server that spoke English and menus were given in English with some curious interpretations. the room was decorated in an eclectic way. partly in our dinner, a relatiw loud group of five men sat on the adjacent table. they were loud enough that we had difficulty hearing about the noise. the amuse bouches were unimaginatiw: a crispy cracker and a disc salami between two somewhat stale pieces brot. the escaped kept promise. we had the foie gras with coward and an accompanying little salate, and it was very good. the souris d’agneau was a great disappointment. it was served with two large carrots and a very small carrot. the lamb was essentially raw in the middle. gigot d’agneau and chops are so great, but souris? I may be spoiled, but if we had souris d’agneau elsewhere, it was always very well cooked. desserts were just fine. relatiw expensive."
