"I was in Zurich for a long weekend and as a vegan I have had some pretty dismissal options (or lack of) in many places I visit. I had no problems finding several vegan options in Zurich and Mohini restaurant was just one. Note – Mohini serve vegan and vegetarian food so be sure to check which options are vegan. They did not have a menu in English but between the waiting staff/ chef they were able to translate. We went on a Saturday evening (only opens on a Saturday once a month.) The menu options are fairly limited compared to other restaurants but that didn’t matter at all as the taste/ quality of the food was exceptional. This is not fussy, overcomplicated food it is hearty, flavoursome, well thought out, healthy vegan food. For dessert there was only panna cotta (vegan option and vegetarian.) I am not usually a fan of panna cotta so I was reluctant to try it. I’m so glad I did, it was sublime with a mild coconut flavor and served with a delicious raspberry coulis. The best dessert EVER. One of the best vegan restaurants I have ever been to (the other one was also in Zurich!.) My boyfriend is not vegan and he also thought all the food was excellent. The ambience is cosy and intimate with warm lighting and ‘light’ gold/ beige décor, it’s also very clean. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful. It’s quite expensive to eat here but I think Zurich is expensive generally so it is probably on par with local prices. It was worth it for the wonderful experience we had."

the mohini offers a menu with a drink at lunchtime: usually a 4-course. you can have this menu in a large or small variant (26/23.-). the vegetarian menus are always worth a visit.

Mohini is a great if you want great vegetarian food in between ETH/University and Hauptbahnhof. Since there is one set meal, including drink, starter, main course and desert, you don't need to decide what you are heaving. So far, everytime i went there, I had a very good meal and would definitely recommend it for lunch in the area. Ver carta

lunch on the 4th juli 2016for the first time I eat vegetarian and biological according to the principles of ayurveda. the menu contains a main dish with a nice variation well prepared with some liquid that the rice is not quite dry, great. to it a red cabbage salad with coriander, much coriander, super.On the dessert I wanted to dispense with but also this is a variation of milk rice with nuts and saffron, needing to get used but very good.

I'm just at the tee drinking of one of mohini's chai mixes that tastes just as super as the lunches that my man and I have eaten yesterday at mohini. I don't think you're a vegan, not a vegetarian, and was skeptical when he looked at the menu card: looking at me he says: "I don't give it any other?" and confusing: alone I would certainly not have chosen this locally.To love before me, he stays and takes if the teller with 3 hot dips, 1 small bowl with salate and a small dish ball is made easy and he looks me. he eats his whole teller empty and is satisfied with volkommen.
