Ratsschänke Marburg

Achtung, mit Kindern muss man dort wirklich nicht hin!!! Wir wollten dort gerne essen und wurden direkt wieder hinaus katapultiert, weil wir 2 Kleinkinder dabei hatten

Wir wurden äusserst freundlich empfangen und bedient. Das Essen als solches hat uns aber nur mässig begeistert. Beim Gemüse und den Kroketten hatte man nicht den Eindruck von Frischware.

pequeño restaurante, muy cuidado y de comida típica alemana. destacan sus carnes y ensaladas. precio muy correcto. en un sitio privilegiado (plaza del ayuntamiento) es muy recomendable si se apsea por la parte antigua de Marburg

Alors qu'il y avait plein de place, nous n'avons pas été autorisé à y manger car il n'acceptait pas la poussette et n'avait pas de chaise haute à la place ! En bref si vous avez des enfants vous n'êtes pas les bienvenus ! Je n'ai jamais vu ça une honte

Ein wunderschönes, gemütliches, kleines Lokal mit ausgezeichneter Küche und sehr freundlichem Service. Wenn wir in Marburg sind gehen wir immer zur Ratsschänke, man wird sehr freundlich empfangen und fühlt sich gleich wohl und willkommen. Das Essen ist jedesmal ein Genuß, alles frisch zubereitet mit saisonalen Angeboten. Ich freue mich schon auf unseren nächsten Besuch. Danke Ver carta

In jeder Organisation, in jedem Betrieb, in jeder Küche kann und darf mal etwas "klemmen", das ist menschlich! :-) Wenn dann jedoch die (zudem junge und hübsche ;-) ) Bedienung das ganze Dilemma mit freundlichen Worten und einem Lächeln erklärt und sich entschuldigt, ist alles wieder in Ordnung und der Gast fühlt sich wohl! So war es am Sonntagabend, 18.6.17.Und das Essen hat prima geschmeckt!

Restaurant Ratsschanke serves excellent traditional food that is not overpriced like many of the restaurants in Marburg. Service is very good, English menus, and the staff speaks excellent English. You will get to experience what an old school traditional German restaurant is like. If you are looking to experience traditional German fare in a traditional German restaurant, this is a can't miss location.

It's been 31 years since I left Marburg. And I'm so glad I made it a point to come back during this month-long tour of Hesse and Alsace. So many fond memories that only a beautiful place like this can honour and reward. And what could be better in the crisp autumn air but a plateful of German savouries? The food here on both nights - yes I absolutely had to come back a second time - had my ancient Deutscher DNA doing the happy dance. Staff at the front of house was personable, genial and welcoming. The kitchen is obviously graced with people who care a great deal about local food and its traditions. The regional Reisling and - of course! - the after dinner schnapps were perfect complements....
