We had to wait one hour and 15 minutes to get some food which was not worth the money. The people at the neighbour table send the food back to the kitchen. Don't go there.

Due to the festivities in Fulda, it was full, inside and outside. The waitress showed me a table inside that was very pleasant and brought my beer very fast. I ordered the carving with mushroom sauce and sparrow, it came quite fast and was...more than delicious. The bill was surprisingly low for such a meal. We stopped here for dinner as they had Chanterelle mushrooms on the menu. I love coming to Germany in summer with them on all menus. We ordered and I changed my selection of Chanterelles with sparrow and not the bread deposit. She misunderstood my order and did both. They were very accommodating and only left me the one I wanted. All our meals were good and delicious. It was a little expensive, but it seemed over the course. We enjoyed our meal here.

I’ve visited this pub a couple of times now and I do like the cozy atmosphere. The food is good, but the portion sizes are on the large side and, it being traditional German cooking, it is rather heavy and rich. The only thing I...was not happy with is the waitress giving a rather snappy comment in German, after my colleague asked her a question in English, not realising that people at the table can understand her. It was a normal question with regards to the food preparation and this should not happen!

Great place for a traditional German lunch / dinner! Service lacks unfortunately (they behave as if customers were an anger or at least that was my experience every time I have been there), but fortunately the food and ambience (lighting, decor, other customers)... makes it worth coming back. The lost star is for a bad service (long waiting, while trying to get the attention of the staff and then finally you need to get out of your place and get the staff to approach them to come and take your order. Same if you want to order more drinks or additional dishes). Ver carta
