Fantastic food and wine as well. Service was the only thing even better. I highly recommend this restaurant to anyone in the area.

Nice place with a nice view over the lake (Wiessee). Beautifully cooked and presented dishes. Personnel polite and patient. Eating my food while gazing at lake offered me an opportunity to spent happy hours with my family. Once possible I will return.

The restaurant location is at the yacht club, which provided a nice view of the lake. We had mainly fish courses. All of them were bold in flavor. Overall, a good experience. However, there is still a gap in terms of atmosphere and experience, where the restaurants aims to be based on the pricing and kind of food they are serving.

We went to Seepferdchen for my wife's 30th birthday based upon a recommendation from our hotel and we could not have been happier. It started with a table right next to the lake and the food matched the view. We had the gnocchi with truffles, the pesto pasta, and the seared tuna with beet carpaccio and they were all incredible. If you are in Bad Wiessee and you have the opportunity, this is the place to eat.

Were served for diner by very friendly waiter who served us delicious curry soup with shrimp but where we could not discover the shrimp . Asked if we were mistaken about the what was written on the menu , he excused himself poorly but made up with a piece of toast with one grilled shrimp .The veal schnitzel that followed was so small and thin that you only tasted the fried batter .Located along the lake at the yacht club , the view from the terrace or restaurant is great but for food you may find better places along the lake . Went with my friend to celebrate her 70th birthday on the recommendation of TA. I personally visited to book the table and ask if they could do a little something to make the evening special - maybe a small glass of complimentary prosecco for her maybe?We did receive a glass of prosecco each - and then were charged for them! I queried this and was told they couldn't do anything complimentary. Even some metallic table sprinkles would have been appreciated though...Other than this disappointment, the meal and wine were very good. The chocolate brownie dessert was worth the price too!

We booked this restaurant based on the TripAdvisor reviews and we were not disappointed. It is very different to most other German restaurants in that it is a modern building. It has large windows overlooking a dining terrace which looks over the lake. A beautiful setting for dinner. The menu was in German but the waiter was very kind to explain things to us to make our selections. My husband had a cooked beef carpaccio which he said was excellent and I had cream of asparagus soup which was delicious. For main my husband had weiner schnitzel and I had fillet of trout, both were excellent. Definitely worth a visit for both the food and the location.

If you're looking for a place to enjoy a lovely meal with fantastic view look no further. I have enjoyed the Seepferdchen both in day time and nighttime and not that the food needs anything added, the view certainly does not hurt the eyes. The soups are fitting of the weather both warm and cold and the entrees are of a wide variety. The menu changes as well so arrive with an empty stomach and often because you will want to try so much! Especially while admiring the view. Service is great and knows how to make you feel welcome but not overly. All in all a great place to socialize with friends or enjoy the evening with a loved one because I have done both and will continue to do so while I liv... Ver carta
