I had a steak with extra pads, grilltomate and spinat. the steak was perfectly fried, beautiful, but what was done can be described as three times. the desired spinach was not visible at all because it was stuffed in two grill tomatoes. so I had a total of two spoons spinat and two mini tomaten .. with the butter to steak exactly the same, so a small portion that you ask yourself whether it should be a joke. for prestige is the load suitable, not to starve silent."

Had a 3 course-menu with wines at 80 Euro. Order two menus even if you are a light eater like me: food servings are microscopic and wine servings cheap. Quality is OK but not outstanding. It will be easy to find much more value for that kind of money somewhere else.

we had a wonderful evening in the waterkant. very friendly reception, very pleasant service, table as desired with view of the elbe. very good food, very well dressed and very tasty.Herzliche thanks to anatolij root and christian, chef de rang. will gladly come back after the reconstruction.

I was a hospitable in the "empire riverside" and wanted to run in the evening without a big one and look for good food. So I chose the restaurant which is located directly in the hotel and what should I say it was perfect all around. starting from the friendly reception, the weinberatung, the menu, the service to the whisky selection, it was just as I wish.

This is a great restaurant in first floor of hotel overlooking the river in St Pauli. Nice vibe with clean modern lines, subdued lighting and open kitchen. Fish featured strongly on the menu but there is a good range of options including vegetarian. Nice wine list at medium/top end of pricing. Staff are great and the ambience is professional, relaxed and attentive,

we were for a birthday party in the waterkant. nice that we could order everyone individually and were not set to a menu. that was eating, once again, very good, greatly dressed and extraordinary. each from our group has tasted its menu order very well and all were thrilled. the wee was good. the service was nice. the pralines at the end were a great conclusion of a very nice evening, which we had to finish in the Davids bar. happy again.

restaurant waterkant is a good experience. on a rainy evening we had no pleasure on st. pauli. we have therefore decided to eat in the hotel, good decision. We started with a very tasty lobster soup, really intense taste. as a main dish there was a fantastic ass carving with bratkartoffeln, speck, wobble and gurkensalat, then we were fed .es there are many wee in glasses and a good selection of bottled wines to reasonable preisen. the service is also top-class. all in all a really good experience
