it strikes me as strange that for all its cosmopolitanism, london does not have a single decent greek restaurant, a fact that is affirmed by my greek friends.

I went with a party of 10 and service was fast, food good, portions very generous. Staff more than happy to give advice on the food too. Lamb skewers and seabass get special mention.

they were looking for a fantastic Greek restaurant to eat for a long time, finally found it. nice fresh food, good service, relaxed modern neutral facility, definitiw a cut over the rest of the london Greek institutions. highly recommended, I know I'm coming back to visit. Ver carta

went to retsina on a friend recommendation and was not disappointed. for a rushing native it was very busy, but eating was excellent grilled meeresbass was stunning, the service was a little bited, but still excellent. I come back and would recommend this place if they were looking for a high quality Greek meal.

not as charming as expected. we went to eat after retsina last night. I knew eating was good, so I thought we weren't disappointed. Luckily, the meat is good so that this kept us happy, but there was a series of reasons why we were not satisfied: that a table cloth was not clean when we arrived and the waiter who changed it, muted us that this was not his fault. there is a service fee of £1 per person, regardless of whether they eat or not. they did not mention that the Pitta bread they brought us is being accused. when we complained about the Pitta load, one waiter said that we are probably not at the right place. Yes, well they're my neighbors, but beyond that where else could a nice jewish boy from NYC emigrate to London and find a restaurant with ice cold tsikoudia (Crete). I drink a shot with a wedge of lemon before and after the meal For those who would offer Lemonia (Primrose Hill) in its place, I say love and palates may indeed be blind One of my closest friends in the world is Greek. His name is Manos and his parents unofficially adopted me after I downed a pint of tsikoudia and then sat down to devour all of their cooking. I learned to appreciate Greek food from the source.
