"Went here on Saturday for breakfast 1 adult and 3 children, one of my daughters has ARFID eating disorder and ASD, OCD and everywhere I go and book either online or in-store, have to ask for a table either on the outer edges or in corner. Lots of places look at me like I'm making it up, absolutely draining behaviour/looks off staff when I request this, sometimes they don't take notice. She has badge lanyard to state both. Here every time at submarine cookhouse they are fantastic, go over and beyond, never give me looks, never make me feel I'm trying things on or bad mum cos that's the look I get when she doesn't get or waste bits of food as I never let her get full plates of anything, knowing it will be wasted, sometimes she eats of mine food and share. Here is the best place, service, and understanding of requirements to individuals. The chef on Saturday was brilliant, making her giggle when another child touched a plate and walked off this started her trigger with OCD, he was lovely took it away and gave her a fresh one (bearing in mind she uses her own cutlery). Sammy and Katie were both expectional with my daughters needs. Please make this known to all staff regarding requirements to each individual. Your staff certainly did this. Please make sure praises are given. Food fresh, hot, lots of choice on breakfast, all refilled. Toilets are clean and fresh too, parking around the back. You just need to pop your reg in at the checking point in the restaurant."

Nice welcome and we were seated very quickly. Great selection on both the hot plate and the continental breakfast and the drinks. You can go up as many times as you wanted so great value for money.

I recently visited Cookhouse with my partner, who works there. The staff were all wonderful and friendly. The service was outstanding and the food was delicious. Thank you to all the staff for a fantastic evening.

Came here sunday for a quick meal during the day and lovely experience. my server was a young girl with blonde hair and was so polite and had no issues handling any requests I made. Table was cleared quickly and drinks were kept on top off! will definitely be coming in again.

What a lovely member of staff they have here a big shout out to tracey for a wonderful greating at the door and asking for any allergies which my girlfriend was gluten free and they were really supportive also Corey and dean for a wonderful table service too I would definitely recommend the cookhouse to anyone and everyone thank you so much all staff

Despite negative and low evaluations decided to go. service was very good and eat very tasty. blue light card gave over £10 from the bill. £39 for 2 meals with enough drinks for the evening. and the meals were plentiful and fresh. proper heinze ketchup and hp sauce make a change of cheaper alternatives. ribs bbq sauce was rather warm than hot and maybe a little thick for some, but so it comes.
