Service and food exceptional good choice on the menu value for money featherblade of beef so tasty and melt in your mouth also massive beef burger Andy belly pork yummy.

The chicken was overcooked and the potatoes were undercooked. The restaurant was cold and the overall experience was not pleasant. The chef seemed inexperienced and it was embarrassing.

Staff are friendly and caring. Lovely location. Most of the produce appears to be locally sourced. Breakfast is great. It would have been great if there was a wider range of Rioja wine. Ver carta

Generous sized portions, variety in menu. We have tried various main meals including soup, pizza, gammon, burger, pie as well as various puddings. Malteser cheesecake is our favourite though.

The restaurant is not as good as it used to be during previous visits, when it offered good value and quality. Now, there is little difference between the food served here and typical pub fare.

Everything we ordered at this restaurant was very enjoyable. The ingredients used are good quality and cooked well and nicely presented. The staff are superb, very considerate and attentive. I would not hesitate to recommend this restaurant. Ver carta

I paid £18 for flavorless beef served on a bed of mashed potatoes with a haphazardly thrown on mix of vegetables. My wife ordered the vegetarian shepherd's pie but could only stomach a quarter of it. This was the worst meal I have had in a restaurant in years.

The meals provided in the hotel restaurant are very good...they have a varied selection of meals..and good value for money. The portions are very large and will fill the most hungry traveller. The service by the staff is quick and excellent. You order your meals and do not have to wait long for the meal to be delived. The staff are very attentive to all your needs. Ray griffiths

We visited Richardson's Restaurant on a Friday evening in September, we were taking a short break in the Burns Hall hotel and chose to dine here on our first night. The restaurant is situated in the Burns Hall hotel and is located in a large room with windows looking out over the front gardens. The menu had a good selection of dishes with something which would suit most appetites and tastes. We ordered our drinks and food from the waiter, and this arrived in a good time, and we thought it was very good. Prices were reasonable, certainly not inflated as is sometimes the case in hotel restaurants, and after our meal we adjourned to the hotel bar. We thought that the eating experience here was...
