"Booked a table for our Anniversary, told them that we will try to arrive at the booked time of 7pm but it may be slightly later as we are out all day and traffic may be not be kind (originally requested a later table but there were none available) Anne said this is fine. Decided to call when we were on our way to say will be there between 7.05/7.10 to be told that they had called me all day and didn’t hear so gave our table away. I had one missed call from an unknown number at 2.10pm, no further calls, no voicemail, no text and no email. We were really looking forward to the meal, emailed Anne to say that we’re just in shock that this is considered acceptable, said we were happy to have paid a deposit if she was that worried that we wouldn’t turn up, she hasn’t even had the decency to reply. Avoid!"

Nice food spoilt by large group of VERY noisy drunk youths. We couldn't hear one another talk. Wine was very nice and staff were charming but for a girlie catch up noise totally spoilt my evening.

A favourite of mine for dinner, the food is amazing! A good selection of steak, European and British cuisine. The service does slightly slack depending on when you attend, sometimes it is great, other times not as good sadly.

What disgraceful attitude and service. Never again will I visit this restaurant. I had a table for four at 9pm and on arrival was told they only have a table outside: what on earth is that? High winds and a chilly evening there’s no way this is acceptable!! Been coming here for years but like most good things they come to an end. I hope your business suffers seriously as a result. You are a disgrace; feck you!!

We dine here a few times a year and have done for about 7 years, it never disappoints, food is spot on, and the friendly family that own and run it are lovely. We decided to go on Xmas day this year, we had never dined out Xmas day before as pretty fussy ! I can say now, it did not disappoint! It was amazing ! We were so pleased we went , and will be booking for next year too. Cannot beat Riennas for great food and atmosphere Ver carta

I come to Rienna’s restaurant nearly every month and will keep returning as it’s one of my favourite restaurants in Essex. The food is delicious, I have tried nearly all of the menu and the food is always fantastic and cooked beautiful. The lobster in Thermidor is cooked to perfection, and everything on the menu is so reasonably priced. The staff are so attentive, lovely and so welcoming. It’s such a great and classy atmosphere, if you love fish especially I could not recommend this restaurant enough!

This was our 3rd visit in 2 months (and we drive 30-40mins to get here). We absolutely love this place! They serve one of my favourite dishes, lobster in garlic butter. Note that it is always best to pre-order the lobster in advance as I am not the only one who enjoys! We have tried various starters and other mains from the very varied menu. They have all been cooked to perfection. My husband used to be a chef and is extremely fussy when it comes to eating out. Rienna's is a total gem and a must visit for any occasion. Looking forward to our next visit.
