"To find this pub is easy because there are convenient signs from the main road up to the place. We called in for a drink and decided to stay for an evening meal. The food was excellently presented and very tasty. I had pork tenderloin with the most lemony flavoured mushrooms I have ever eaten it came with dauphinois potatoes and a salad. The potatoes were cooked to perfection but the salad was just too much to eat. My wife had liver and bacon casserole with vegetables and new potatoes and again it was delicious but the portions exceeded our appetites. The service was reasonably quick and very friendly and it certainly is a place we would eat in again if we were in the area. A warm welcoming pub with great food. Well worth a visit.p.s. Apparently there are two pubs with the same name in this area. We will have to visit the other one some time to compare."

Good car parking, friendly staff, kitchen nearly ready to resume service after a complete refit. Previous history suggests the food will be excellent

Lovely Sunday lunch, with a wide choice not just roast. Very dog friendly, even brought a large bowl of water to the table for our Labrador!! Nice beer garden out the back.

What a beautiful place, cosy, kind and smiley members of staff, extraordinary quality of food served quick and hot.. the lady chef came to talk to me after asking warning for some of my sensitivities (artificial colours and flavours) and she made a delicious meal special for me so we were safe with.. I do appreciate it so much.. great cleanliness too.. we definitely will be back!! Thanks and keep your great standard!!

Fantastic food, lots of real ales and cider. A lovely roaring fire. We all throughly enjoyed our meals. Ring O'bells is a proper pub, serving proper food. Bit dark on way to the car park but once you get there a light comes on. But if you're disabled like me be careful to avoid the pot holes. Luckily hubby and daughter had torches otherwise I'd have been in trouble. But saying that it was an excellent evening with food and drink second to none.

"Been wanting to try this ‘alternative’ pub for a while. Large car park with plenty of space, no steps or slopes into the bar. Access for buggies, wheelchairs etc should be okay, my mother walks with the aid of a frame and has no issues. Inside the decor is certainly alternative but in a great way, loved it! Plenty to look at, keep you entertained and talk about as you wait for your food or just pass the time. Staff were friendly and welcoming, there was just one guy running the bar, taking food orders and bringing food out; I thought he needed a helper or coworker really. There is a decent bar area with seating or there is more ‘restaurant’ style seating further back beyond the bar. We chose to sit in the bar area seating which is a mixture of booth and chairs. Dogs are allowed in which is great, there is free Wi-Fi which is good as my mobile signal was very poor. The menu is standard pub food, quite a bit of choice and plenty of options for gluten free. I chose to have the fillet steak cooked medium, I had a starter of garlic bread but chose for it all to come out together. Mother had beef brisket loaded fries, the portion was massive so I had to help her finish it. The steak was perfectly cooked, I chose to have the peppercorn sauce; this was a bit watery and bland. The steak comes with chunky chips, peas, mushrooms, tomatoes and onion rings. For dessert I had the nutty apple crumble with ice cream, it was okay. Overall this is a great venue with acceptable food, friendly staff and awesome decor that will keep you talking and looking all night. Based on this experience I would visit again."
