"We were seated by a rude kid and an older waiter was unpleasant and obviously did not want our money. We ordered burgers and the burgers did not come out til after I asked the kid to check on our order. This was after about 30 minutes when i realized they probably forgot our order. Our waiter also continuously grilled me every time he went over to drink water. It was extremely rude and unpleasant. When we asked for the check, the waiter fumbled about his pockets and our order was crumbled up. Cool. Avoid this place at all costs and go further down to the friendly place in front of the Pompeii entrance. Their friendliness proves they at least deserve your business and they try. Don’t give you money to people who disrespect you and treat you, the customer, like dog dung."

Good location (next to train station). Passable food (similar quality and taste to what you'd get in a student house). Aseptic staff. Overpriced. No receipt given. Service: Dine in Meal type: Lunch Price per person: €20–30 Food: 2 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 1

Best spaghetti in Italy so far. Didn’t expect much from a ‘tourist restaurant’ but was pleasantly surprised. Lovely spaghetti dishes washed down with a couple of Peroni. What could be better after a hard day sightseeing around the incomparable Pompeii. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 4

The staff could barely be bothered and the food was dismal. Lasagne was hardly warm and so little meat it was almost vegetarian. A €4 side of broccoli tasted awful and looked more like wilted spinach. Risotto was just edible. Wish we'd looked at reviews before, but we popped in before catching the train.

Let's forget about it... besides the fact that we waited 40 minutes for 2 tablespoons of sandwiches... we received 2 miniature sandwiches, which were homemade by me, I would have made them even better. To pay 1 sandwich 12 euros!!!!! And I'm just talking about the sandwich... O you who enter... abandon all hope... Food: 1 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 1

Terrible, they just served us meat with a bad smell and worse flavor, as if it had been in the refrigerator for a few days and they served it, the potatoes tasted like burnt oil. The entire plate has been left on the table... horrible on top of that we have paid a super high price for the M of food. Do not go! "This dining experience was utterly ruined by the appalling service. Admittedly we did not book in advance so we had a table outside, right at the end of the row. However we gladly accepted this. We then had bread and water delivered to the table. We then had to ask for menus, then ask for drinks before waiting a further 35 minutes before anyone came to take our order. The wine list was 34 pages on an iPad plonked in front of us! We ordered a bottle of Rose and a glass of red wine, which arrived in about 10 minutes. The wine was opened with due ceremony, including sniffing the wine cork) and poured into three of our glasses. Despite having purchased the bottle it was taken away by the waiter. My wife then pursued the waiter into the restaurant to inform him we had purchased the bottle so could we please have it back at the table. Food arrived, which to be fair was good. I asked for another glass of red wine 10 minutes later it hadn’t arrived so we asked again. Another 10 minutes, it still hadn’t arrived. When it did I had finished my meal, so I sent it away. The whole episode was largely down to the incompetence of a new member of staff, but nevertheless one has to question the level of training this person has received and how well they are supervised. This restaurant purports to be more upmarket and towards the fine dining end of things it needs to ensure its staff are of equally high quality!"
