I regularly visit Caruso on Monday at lunch time where they offer their pizza's for In summer there is also a outdoor seated area which is relatively well sheltered from the street.

Dopo tanto viaggi in Europa questo è il primo ristorante dove si mangia veramente italiano come a casa propria! Ottimo in tutto soprattutto per il personale che ti fa sentire di famiglia! First off the food here is good ate here on two nights and enjoyed both. The difference was the service, night one, great! Friendly waiter, helpful, quick and attentive without being intrusive. Night two complete opposite, struggled to get served, on the way...back from taking my order he stopped to chat with another table, friends I suspect, for almost five minutes before finally going in to place my order. Couldnt get attention to get more drinks and took ages to bring the bill when asked. If you can get the good waiter this is a strong four at least.

if they are looking for substance, then they are looking for it. Positive: pizza and all kinds of pasta are Italian top class. the service is fast and the price is attractive. for the Italian average (in italia) the portions are actually quite large. points to note: the style. is a little retro, but reflects well the “history” of the place. Some tables are very close to each other and therefore they feel something from the private sphere (although it never completely crowded in the week). Of course, the location is not central and makes it there “only” because of the restaurant.
