Great pizzas and super staff and service. We were on the terrasse and it was very pleasant. We did not try the wine but heard nice things about it

Our hosts like this place as the owner and chef know them for years. Service, food and ambiance great. We sat outdoors and enjoyed excellent antipasto misto, pizzas, fish and drinks to keep the fish afloat.

Came back after haven been for a while. The beer garden is nice for sitting outside on a warm day. But the menu did not change much and the food was not totally convincing. I guess there are better Italian restaurants in Heidelberg in the...meantime. Time to improve. Ver carta

we are masters - for 10 years regular to birthdays and special occasions in the golden rose. especially recommended - subjective assessment naturally - antipasti mista - spagetti napoli - piccatta milanese - sometimes also from puten meat - with it as dessert tiramisu and as wine(red) primitivo di puglia

Staff is all Italian and I presume the kitchen staff as well. We were there for lunch. The antipasto misto was okay but not spectacular. The calamari alla griglia was neutral and tasted burnt. The restaurant is in the heart of Kirchheim, a suburb of...Heidelberg. Not enough competition in that quiet village to need to excel.

we were often in the golden rose - with children or even in larger rounds. so far we have never been disappointed. there are eating a la carte, but also versatile day recommendations. Fresh fish from the grill, e.g.... and in the summer you can sit outside in the backyard.The house is quite old and the facility with a lot of dark wood - maybe not everyone tastes, but I find it charming.

I was already some paints in this restaurant, always at lunchtime.Man sitting very nice in the beer garden, in the restaurant itself it is cozy, even something antik. I feel a bit disturbing that the door to the next room is usually open for smokers and so the smoke pulls something into the gas room. the service is very attentive and accommodating and that is not to be underestimated for lunchtime, it is really fast.Since the latest there are also cheap lunch menus with pizza, pasta or meat each with salad.

I went there with my family on a week day evening. Food is very average and highly priced. I do not recommend this restaurant. Beer selection was terrible beers on tab and some bottled beer. No Italian beer. Bread served was cold and...stale. Definitely not freshly made or self made. Main dish portion was quite small. We had swordfish. We received small pieces of fish, a few grilled vegetables and small salad. it costed euro. Beer and pizza prices were normal. Garden sitting was ok. Sitting was not very comfortable.
