I have noticed lots of poor reviews. Hard to find a empty table that has been cleaned. I have always found food okay here, where else would you find a pint of cider and a sirloin steak for a tenner!

Shipyard like Guinness requires a blue nozzel. Is a blue nozzel expensive. My pint of shipyard was awful, mentioned to staff to no avail. It comes out flat with other nozzles so why is it not served correctly!! Imagine a flat pint of Guinness! Please do something!

Go anywhere else but here. Ordered lunch. Last item was a pint of real ale. All ales were off. No advance warning, no covered up pumps, no apology. Worse was to come. Both lamb and steak in mixed grill totally inedible just sinew and fat. How any business can buy meat this poor I don't know. Gammon dried out so tough. Mixed grill reduced to sausage and chips, with peas and mushroom. Not much of a lunch.

We arrived at the restaurant at 12:30 for lunch and it was already bustling, but we were able to find a table. Both the fish and chips and Jalfrezi curry were delicious. The staff were friendly and helpful. One thing to note is that there is a small lift near the restroom, which I assume is for customers who are disabled or parents needing a baby changing room. The steps could be tricky for some, but overall it was a great dining experience. Ver carta

While on a trip to Great Yarmouth, this restaurant is always a welcomed stop for us as it is about halfway through our journey. The staff are always friendly and efficient, the service is quick, and the food is consistently tasty. Today, our party of 11 all ordered breakfast, with some members requesting various additions and modifications, all of which were accurately prepared and delicious. The only minor issue was that the black pudding was slightly overcooked, but that is just my personal preference. Despite seeming a bit short-staffed, the team did a fantastic job and deserve praise for their hard work. Well done once again, Romany Rye team - we will definitely be returning.

What is going on here? This used to be a high-quality pub/restaurant with delicious food. Today, once again, the kitchen was closed with no communication. We had to figure it out ourselves after seeing the app show that all the food was out of stock. When we asked an employee at the bar, they confirmed the kitchen was closed but had no idea when it would reopen. The overall condition of the place is deteriorating, with sticky carpets and dirty, uncleared tables. It's nothing short of disgusting. It's a disappointment compared to just three years ago when we used to enjoy good food, a nice atmosphere, and cleanliness. Don't say you haven't been warned. I hope they can make improvements soon,...

The Romany Rye Wetherspoons Dereham We arrived in Dereham too early for our family visit after a 2hr drive this weekend, so decided to visit the Wetherspoons for breakfast to pass the time. Thankfully there was a parking space just a short walk outside the pub, but there is a car park a short walk away if there aren’t any spaces available outside. We were pleasantly surprised by the decor inside, it’s much grander than our local one, although quite dark with all the wood panelling and dark paintwork.
