Roppongi Sushi Restaurant

Best kind of sushi. Restaurant is small and simple with fresh ingredients and delicious sushi. Agedashitofu was also very good with amazing sauce. Reasonably priced. Great meal.

It's just a small restaurant but they habe great sushi in the old town of Düsseldorf. We had different kinds of sushi and all of them were tasty. A good place to go for sushi in the center:)

I haven't had such good sushi for a long time. The setting might not be incredible but the service is very friendly and efficient. Overall a very good experience in a touristy part of the city.

Tiny little Japanese restaurant just off Carlsplatz, my other half had sushi, I had the noodle soup which is massive and super tasty. Really enjoyable lunch, great service and obviously very popular as there was a constant stream of people.

Great sushi with very fresh ingredients. The nigiri with the smoked eel was so good I had to repeat. Salad as a starter and a Kirin beer and a glass of Chardonnay with the meal. Very good service and the bill is correct for the quality you get. Not very cheap after all but left the restaurant satisfied

We went there for dinner and asked few things on the menu. We got really good sushi but on one of the dishes, they put stuff we explicitly said we did not want. They spoke very poor English and even responded in German when we explicitly said we did not understand it. We felt very poorly treated and the customer experience, overall, very bad, maybe for just few dishes and stuff would be okay... We won't be visiting again.Regards,

I can't comment on the noodles or vorspeisen but I had miso soup and 2 different types of sushi (a spicy tuna roll and a salmon gunkan). Both were absolutely delicious. I thought the spicy tuna roll was a bit pricy at €19 until it arrived- it was huge! With lots of tuna, and the right amount of spicy- just delicious. The service was attentive but not intrusive, the atmosphere is informal and overall it was just a lovely experience. Will definitely be back.

We were in Düsseldorf for a trade show that lasted 2 weeks. Since this place was next to our apartment we went there 3 times. Spending over 300 euros every time (since it is very expensive). Today we wanted a table for 6 and although the restaurant was half empty they said we couldn't eat because it was lunchtime. We asked nicely if we could seat and wait for 30min until they serve everyone already there.The chef said no. The owner said no. I asked him if he could explain. His answer: I said no. And he walked away.Never been treated like this before, specially when they recognized us.Just don't go. They don't know how to treat customers. This is why it is always empty, I guess.

But up until today, I've never had good sushi in Europe.Roppongi is a modest-looking place, and it's named after a less savory part of Tokyo. It might seat about 18 people if they are good friends. The staff is all Japanese. The menu has the traditional sushi, sashimi, and maki as well as the American-style rolls. It's not advertised on the menu, but if you ask, they have a choice of about ten sake's, including junmai, of varying degrees of sweet to dry.I concentrated on the nigiri. Every single piece was a generous amount of meat, of a quality you don't often find this far from the Pacific. I may have tipped them...
