Rose Tree - Carta

I went to this restaurant for lunch and ordered the Sunday roast beef. It tasted good and the staff were friendly! In conclusion, I highly recommend this place!

Our first visit was faultless. Food service exceptional. They kindly gave us a table by the window away from the rest. We had a problem with one of our dishes, which was resolved by Sonia our lovely waitress.

racism stuff. call the restaurant twice but hung up my call because she's not familiar with my accent. when got there we waited for 15mins but no one served the menu. one stuff glanced at us but ignored us. totally awful experience. Ver carta

We went here last night and the food was great! We started with the Brie appetizer which was so amazing we almost ordered a second one. For the main course we ordered the lamb and the 8oz. sirloin steak. The restaurant is a little expensive but you get a lot of food and the staff is very friendly. The restaurant is also conveniently located in the center of town. Two thumbs up from us visiting from Los Angeles!

My mother and I both tried the Crabmeat Shrimp Avocado Salad at this restaurant and it was outstanding! The greens were super fresh, the tomatoes were sweet, and the crab tasted like it came straight from the sea. We were also blown away by their Peach Ginger Cheesecake, which was out of this world! The Panna Cotta with fresh berry compote and crumble was also incredible. These dishes are a must-try and are truly to die for.

The staff and ambiance at this restaurant are both excellent, receiving a 5-star rating. The decor is adorable and the interior is charming. The staff were friendly, attentive, and overall pleasant. However, the fish and chips only received a 1-star rating. The fish was slimy and the breading was subpar. I have tried fish and chips at many pubs and this one ranks as one of the worst, with even IKEA surpassing it in quality. Despite their high ratings on TripAdvisor, it may be worth exploring other menu options as the fish and chips did not meet expectations. Ver carta

Just had an amazing dinner this evening. Always busy; reservations are a must and it's November 1, not even the height of tourist season. We started with a spicy pumpkin soup. Then I had the Moroccan vegetable tagine on couscous. Husband had the Stilton cheese vegetarian lasagna. Everything was perfect! We were tickled at how much the man at the next table was savoring his steak and kidney pie.. Service could not have been better and the ambience is just what you'd want in The Cotswolds. After 4 nights in Bourton-on-the-water, we both agree Rose Tree was the best dining experience.

We had an early dinner at the Rose Tree last night. We did make reservations although there seemed to be many available tables for those who did not book. Beautiful view of River Windrush with dwindling crowds as the shoppers and sightseers left for the day. We ordered the sea bass, a pot pie, a vegetarian salad and an appetiser... and later, desserts. The food was excellent and plated prettily: the flavours were superb from the first to the last bite. The staff were efficient and friendly. The restaurant does not take £50 notes, so be prepared with lesser notes if you plan to pay by cash. Best of luck!

An enjoyable dinner whilst on holiday. Our pork belly and sirloin steak mains followed by amaretto semi-freddos with pear slices left us well filled and vindicated our decision to avoid a starter. All the food was well cooked and tasty. With a bottle of wine, coffees and liqueurs our bill came to just over good value for money.Service was friendly and helpful well done Kai and his charming assistants!Our quibbles are twofold: The noise level in the inner dining room was very high due to a combination of a hard decor and the proximity of the tables. This leads on to the second some would consider the table density to be too high with Covid still at high levels. A window was open but the close... Ver carta
