"have many meals in various caffe rouge restaurants and they are usually good. that was terrible. I had king prawns to begin, and the broth that came with him was stale. my wife had camembert who was boiled over, and the water buds garnish was devastated and black. the steak was hard and the baguette stale my wife. had fish cake that came back with rotten eating cracks. both of them came with French pommes, which we never burned again!"

Excellent service, relaxed atmosphere (for a city centre location) and great food-simply done, very tasty and generous portions. Perfect shopping trip family refuel!

The afternoon tea was adequate but scones were over done. Service was slow but out of 3 people who served us 2 were very friendly helpful. We waited a full half hour for food to arrive.

The waitstaff was extremely helpful when we realized we didn't have the Groupon credit code for our meal, which was a gift from a friend. We called and were able to retrieve the code. The food was good and we even had a window seat.

The meal was excellent. The French onion soup and smoked salmon were delicious. The wine was also good. However, there were some items not available on the menu due to delivery issues. The sirloin steak was unfortunately not good at all - very fatty and inedible.
