"Booked a table for 6.45pm for 3 people, arrived at 6.48pm (I know we were 3 mins late). As soon as we walked through the door the waitress said that we would have to order straight away as they had a large table coming in at 7pm. We were shown to our table where the waitress asked for our drinks order which we gave. Over the next 9 minutes the waitress came over 3 times to ask if we were ready to order, we weren’t ready to order by this time obviously as we had only sat down 9 minutes before hand. Then she came over again to tell us if we didn’t order now there would be over an hour wait for food. We asked why they didn’t tell us this when we booked and she said it wasn’t her that took the call. She said that if we weren’t late then it would have been fine, I explained that we were 3 minutes late, if we were really late I would have understood. Even if we would have arrived early, we probably still would have had to order within about 5 minutes of arriving. The whole thing made us feel uneasy and that we weren’t really welcome at the restaurant. We left without having food or drinks. A real disappointment. The ‘big table’ that was coming in still hadn’t arrived by 7.08pm so I’m wondering if they all had to order within the 5 minute time frame too? It’s a shame that this has happened, as we were trying it again, being local, after the last time we came a few years ago and there was a bug in my food that had obviously been cooked in the sauce. We will definitely not ever return here again or recommend"

"On a Sunday evening around 4:50 PM, there were twelve diners in the restaurant and at least twenty vacant tables. When we arrived, we were greeted and asked if we had a reservation. We replied that we did not, and were told we could wait at the bar for ten minutes. We agreed, but after fifteen minutes with no updates, we inquired about our table. The staff member informed us that he was busy with other tasks. I pointed out that the restaurant was empty, and he replied that he was obviously busy."

"There were a decent amount of vegan options with 5 pies, mushroom risotto, lasagne, and a tart as possible mains and a few starters and sides. I enjoyed a lovely “swedey Todd” pie (by mr nice pie) with mash and gravy. The mash was a little bland and the gravy a little watery but overall a very nice meal. My mum had the vegan lasagne with chips and loved it. We decided not to have pudding, but there was one vegan option of brownie and ice cream (I noticed that this is a new edition since January)."

"My friend and I visit this restaurant every other Friday and we always experience top-notch quality and service. We are never rushed and the atmosphere is amazing. The food is always fresh, and Diplu has even recommended new dishes for us to try. The staff go above and beyond to make our dining experience enjoyable. Definitely worth a visit."

"I ordered sausages, regular chips, and Irish curry sauce. The portion of chips was substantial, and the sauce containers are big enough to share. They did a fantastic job! It would be great if the menu had more vegetarian options, but fish seemed to be more popular, unfortunately. They offer water in reusable containers to reduce plastic waste, so I'm sure they would be happy to refill water bottles as well. They also have snacks and drinks available for dogs. The prices for dining inside the restaurant are significantly higher, so we chose to sit outside, but the interior looked beautiful. It was pouring rain, making sitting inside more appealing, but overall, it was a positive experience."
