"We made the mistake of ordering from this restaurant through Just Eat, and it was a huge error. When we arrived to pick up our food at the designated time, it hadn't even been started, so we had to wait an additional 15 minutes. When the food was finally ready, we were asked for payment, but I explained that we had already paid online through Just Eat. The staff member seemed confused, but we left without thinking much of it. However, as we were walking down the street, the Manager/Owner came running after us, claiming that we hadn't paid. I insisted that we had paid online through Just Eat, but it seemed like he didn't understand how the system worked. Additionally, we had been given the wrong order, so we had to return to the restaurant. By the time we got home, our food was cold, even though it's only a 5-minute walk away. I didn't want to go back due to the hassle we had experienced earlier. We have ordered from this restaurant many times before and even dined in without any issues, but this time, the food was disappointing. The staff didn't seem familiar, possibly indicating new ownership, but overall, we were very disappointed with our experience."

I used to love this restaurant, but some of the menu items have changed and now the quality is disappointing. The restaurant looks tired and could use some updates in both the food and furnishings. I would not recommend it.

I was recommended by a friend to eat at the Royal, I've only gave a 1 star because the starter's were okay, 3 of us had all different main dishes, no taste, sweet and runny, all 3 of us had an upset stomach the next morning, I won't be back again

We have just picked a order tonight and can honestly say we have just had the best Indian take away we have had for a long time. The food was fresh, tasty, and hot. Well done to all the staff and especially the chef. Many thanks to you all we shall be bk.

I had only used a very good farewell. to use the pfahlhaus, which was in the same building, but not to eat it as it became an Indian restaurant. will definitely go for a full sit down menu soon. (if there are a few less vacationers) I can't give the full 5 stars until I do.

I ordered from Just Eat and it was the worst takeout I've ever had. I ordered the butter chicken and it was completely bland, not tasting like butter chicken at all. I would not recommend this place. For Indian food, I suggest going to Bombay Delights or Naz Indian instead.

We decided to try this restaurant after trying the other Indians in teignmouth previously, I would say this one is the best, lovely crisp batter on the onion baghi starters, and one of the best saag dishes Byriani dishes we’ve had for a long time. Service is also welcoming, highly recommend the royal

we (my wife and my son, 16 years) had a great meal 3. sept 2020 service was so smooth and they are so attentive and helpful. the young lady in the bar area was exceptionally happy and chatty would definitely recommend to a great Indian meal with great service. they are also dog friendly not Friday or Saturday
