"I lost my camera in Sainsbury's yesterday (16th Jan) for about an hour. The manager, Keiran, and several colleagues were incredibly kind and helpful in trying to help me and my husband find it. When we couldn't locate it, they treated us to a complimentary cup of tea in the cafe because I was upset. Keiran was very thoughtful and kind. Then, a very kind and friendly lady working in the clothes section found the camera and returned it to me. Thank you so much to all the staff and customers who went above and beyond to help. Truly grateful for the compassion and assistance."

Although our Sunday lunches were served with a smile and were piping hot, we were disappointed with the chicken, as it was served in slices and looked rather insipid.

Well what a wonderful surprise it was, 3 breakfasts and all were better than perfect, also the service was as good as the breakfast, can't wait to visit north devon again and we know where we are going for breakfast

The restaurant is frequently understaffed and overwhelmed. It's common to wait up to 20 minutes for your meal. While it's not a gourmet dining spot, the food is tasty, though somewhat processed. I suggest coming during off-peak hours.

Took lunch before shopping. Requested sausage and mash, as shown on their website. Told when ordering, that not on menu now, so had ham, eggs and chips. Very disappointed as eggs overcooked and chips not up to standard. Ham was eatable. Not sure if I would visit again.

I will never be returning to this café. The experience was terrible. I can't understand how a place like this could be so disappointing. The cottage pie was unappetizing, as you can see in the photo. The service was extremely slow, taking over half an hour, and they were already out of everything I wanted when I placed my order. It was ridiculous. I will definitely not be coming back.

Stopped by for breakfast one weekend with my partner and was served by an older lady I’ve not seen before, she was grumpy and I thought short with the couple in front and us, wasn’t impressed. The food was ok, a long wait and they seemed to lap the whole cafe area several times before finding the right table, surely there’s an easier way for the poor girl delivering the food to the tables? Food didn’t seem quite the same quality that we’d received previously?
