Lovely pub , been many times over the years. Friendly staff. Great food. Good selection of beers and wine well alcohol in general : what more do you need.

Lovely food and for the quality I felt it was reasonably priced. Our three and four year olds were made very welcome too. Clean toilets, glasses and cutlery. We would be very happy to recommend The Rock and will return.

Fantastic service, amazing food, and a charming pub overall. I visited twice in a span of 24 hours. The chicken supreme was absolutely delicious. The price per person ranged from £70 to £80. I would give the food, service, and atmosphere all a perfect rating of 5.

This restaurant offers delicious roast dinners at affordable prices, and is also dog and child friendly. I always make sure to visit when I'm in North Devon. They cater well for those with celiac disease. The average price per person is between £20 and £30. The food, service, and atmosphere all receive a rating of 5. I highly recommend trying their Sunday Roast Beef.

The Rock Inn is a fantastic little find! I visited last Tuesday with a group of sixteen and we were greeted by friendly staff and excellent service. The highlight was definitely the food - it was outstanding and great value for money. I highly recommend trying the pork belly, it was delicious. I will definitely be returning to The Rock Inn next time I am in Devon. Thank you for a fabulous evening! xxx

This local pub is fantastic! We visited based on a recommendation and without a reservation on a Bank Holiday Monday for lunch. Despite this, they graciously seated our party of 9 at short notice. We would definitely return if we are in the area again, as the food, drinks, and service were all excellent. Everyone in our group, including the children, was very pleased! The seafood dishes were particularly outstanding.

here for lunch on recommendation. was with my 16-year-old daughter. eating was absolutely out of this world and the service fantastic really attentive, but not in the slightest bit intrusive. we sat outside in the (unseasonable) sun and everything was wonderful. very busy in the inner, so in the summer months the booking should definitely be imagined. in the inner are all low beams and real fires that made me actually long for the winter and a place there through the coals. recommend this beautiful hidden place in the hills over croyde.

We just returned from our first visit to The Rock during the 5th day of our annual family holiday in North Devon. We were unsure if we wished we had discovered this beautiful place earlier or if we were glad we hadn't because we would have spent a fortune wanting to visit every day! We had an amazing meal with our 8-year-old son, who enjoyed the excellent service. As someone who is conscious about fitness and health, I am always meticulous about the meals I eat, but I treat myself when eating out.
