The decor of this place is overwhelmingly cute, with flowers, pink walls and positive vibes everywhere. The cakes look great and are very tasty. Gets quite busy so you may need to wait for a table.

Amazing Afternoon Tea with my Mum and Daughter for my Birthday. Delicious homemade sandwiches and cakes and the staff were so friendly and attentive and made a special effort with my 6 year old daughter and made her feel very welcome. Would highly recommend!

Stopped off for lunch whilst out walking today. What an unexpected treasure! The warmest of welcomes including to the two dogs that were with us, even bringing out a blanket so the bony greyhound could lie down. The food (sandwiches from the daily specials) were delicious. The cakes looked divine and I’ll definitely be coming back for an afternoon tea. A very definite 10/10

I visited Sally's yesterday to celebrate Emma's Baby Shower. The cream tea was delicious. Sandwiches were fresh and had generous fillings and the cakes were melt in the mouth. There were also other sweet and savoury snacks that complimented the cream tea perfectly. The setting was so pretty and the staff could not have been more helpful.Would definitely recommend this little gem of a place.

22-Aug-23 Sally's Cake Emporium: Visited on a Tuesday lunchtime for afternoon tea. Parking is easy in the nearby village car park. The tea room is very sweet, with its vintage decor. Our afternoon tea was delicious and plentiful, so much so that we took away a few cakes, although it was a shame that there were no cake boxes for this as the greasiness of the cake leaked through the provided bag. Service was pleasant, and good to see some young staff members gaining experience. Would happily return.

Talk about kid in a sweet shop I was an adult in a cake shop. A bright interior and welcoming staff boded well for our first visit. Our well filled smoked salmon and cream cheese sandwich was tasty although the bread was cut extra thick rather than thick. Nicely presented. Mrs B. claiming to be sated declared she could manage “just a taste of cake.“ Pull the other one, dear. I had to be quick to scoff my meagre share of the very nice cookie dough slice. Nice coffee. We will return, have our cake and I’ll get my fair share. Well done Sally.

I have been meaning to write this review for sometime now as I have been using this cafe since 2020 in my opinion it is the best cafe in Kent. Everywhere else I go doesn’t match up to it. The food is out of this world all homemade. The sausage sandwich is so big and tasty and the prawn sandwiches are delicious. They make a great cup of coffee and all their homemade cakes are amazing. The staff are really friendly (Becka), nothing is too much for them and it feels like home. It’s lucky I don’t live in Otford as I would probably go there everyday. Thank you for the five star service and food.

Driven past many times always been so busy we wanted to try. Well worth the visit today on a freezing cold day. Met with a warm greeting chose our table. One mocha one latte so tasty, we ordered a beef horseradish sandwich with salad crisps a cooked gammon piccalilli sandwich with the same. Never had bread so fresh was presented beautifully. The tearooms is decorated wonderfully so quirky in all pastel colours with cups saucer mini cake decorations so pretty. The cakes at the counter all looked delicious but after our sandwiches we decided to take some home, carrot cake bread pudding they did not disappoint. My Dad and I went to enjoy a breakfast somewhere different and ended up here. It looked nice enough from the outside. We wanted to order Eggs benedict however we got told that they stop doing that at 12 noon. The time was 11.50am. Therefore I ordered a bacon sandwich and my Dad had a sausage sandwich. The bacon sandwich was so fatty and overcooked and the toast was burnt. My Dad’s bread for his sandwich was curled at the edges and wasn’t very fresh, making it difficult for him to eat. I would say that this is possible a place to go for a coffee and a cake, but not breakfast. It does sadden me that you can’t be served things that are on the menu, due to a timeframe.
