Always love it here. The food is consistently really good and the staff are absolutely brilliant

had served an ingenious Sunday dinner by rene and brogan, which a team did not make mistakes everything perfectly

Just had a beer in the beer garden. Great views from our seat and it was a hot and sunny day so the San Miguel went down very well.

Staff was really rude, and the food was cold. They tried overcharging us, putting extra meals on our order becareful make sure you checked prices when you paid.

Sunday dinner is simply amazing, in a beautiful environment and ree makes them so welcome. large portions of beautiful foods to so favorable trips. the apple cake is a winner each time.

Received a parking fine for £100 4 months after having a pint there despite there being no visible signage about and have seen other reviews that have had this happen to them, avoid this pub and take your business elsewhere

First time at the Same yet the service was excellent the Lovely Lady that served us was so welcoming and friendly and couldn’t do enough for us the food was so nice too I had the tex mex burger son had the cheese pie and my sister had the steak sandwich all the food was delicious and they even do little Dog meals too our Dog was made to feel so welcome too which was lovely excellent experience highly recommend to everyone and there furry friends look forwards to our next visit thank you to the lovely waitress for the great service

Simister is such a traditional, beautiful looking village, yet despite its surroundings and picturesque views, this pub is below par on lots of levels. It looks tired and dated, cluttered and mismatched in its decor and furniture and the beer garden is lacking in colour that could easily be added by plants and foliage. The food was ok, bland and a tad greasy. Service fast and efficient. Alcohol was very overpriced .Minimum products that were alcohol free. 1 choice of lager or cider, no wine or prosecco) . It lacked atmosphere from entering the building. Shame really as this place has all the foundations for being a little gem.

So confused by some of these reviews that they’ve prompted me to write my own. My family and I love coming here. Lovely outdoor space to sit in the sun with our dog having a drink and some dinner, and they even cater for dogs! Really friendly staff (we especially love the older lady sorry for calling you older, only because most are very young and good food (one of the best cheese and onion pies ever the kids and I are particularly cheese and onion pie connoisseurs! . You need to scan a QR code for free car parking when you arrive, which staff usually tell you when you first get there but there are also plenty of signs and even one on the menus.
