A proper document would be useful, we did not receive an invoice. But it's stupid! Italian cuisine beyond the mainstream is not available at every corner. We'll be back. Everything was perfect, from aperitivo until digestivo. Food was excellent, very fresh ingredients, good value for your money. Very kind people, and good music, not the tipical Italian stuff.

I was there with a group. We all took the full menu EUR per person). Many small dishes and very tasty. I guess it took us more than hours to eat all. The wine prices are good and the atmosphere is this small...place is great very friendly staff. I would love to go there again.

Although the dishes are quite pricy the wines are reasonably priced. It is enjoyable watching...the maestro at work. He has some great ideas and his restaurant is definitely worth a visit.No credit cards accepted.

Just enjoyed some really top food in a very pleasant, non pretentious atmosphere. The Euro bill for two which included dessert to share and a glass of wine each was good value for money as we had top ingredients both for starters and...main course. What was very noticable was the food was packed with flavours but not with unnecessary fat and calories. Will definitely go back there again!

If you like Italian food with a difference, San Leo will give you all you expected and more. The buzz of the place ensures your enjoyment of the whole dining experience. The food is excellent, the wines are brilliant and not overpriced, and the service...is friendly and helpful. It always seems to be full so be sure to make reservations in time. If you are looking for Mediterranean/Italian cuisine, where the basic ingredients are prepared in a creative new way, and your budget lies at approx. EUR this is definitely a place to go. Friendly service, cozy atmosphere, with a lot of wood and a simplistic,...natural interior design, a bit crammed but the food is excellent. All dishes were very tasty with their own particular dish design. I had not tried any of them except for the chocolate souffle (which often can be ordered at other restaurants), but the latter was homemade and had a very intense, dark chocolate taste, not too sweet. "If a family has been leading an Italian Sicilian restaurant for 40 years without interruption in a German city, you can talk about a tradition of Italian Sicilians. Forty years in the same place, opposite the Wuppertal swimming pool and not even an ideal location, about 1.5 kilometers from the city. We haven't been here for a long time, of course it's not 40 years ago, but two or three years ago. We have entered, like before, always full. The atmosphere has changed to the advantage.
