"Family meal during our vacation in Périgord. The restaurant is located on the heights of Limeuil and is easily accessible. The setting is sublime with the terrace which offers a unique view of the valley. We particularly appreciated the kindness and attentiveness of the staff who did everything to ensure that we had a pleasant time as a family. A great address to remember in Limeuil! "We stopped at this place for lunch. We found a warm and professional reception rare today in restaurants The manager is listening and force of proposal We took a child menu and 2 midday EPD menus Two choices for entries and dishes and 3 choices for MAISON slippers I point out The child menu is also multiple choices corresponding to most of our bambins I really recommend the Perigord board in the entrance and the dishes are very good and very well accompanied with fresh vegetables and worked There are also fries for the greedy Ps: also take the ANCV checks so super Child and conquered parents we will come back with great pleasure during our next getaway away from our original dome puy Do not hesitate to stop there"

"Very disappointed with our menu at 26 €! cold foie gras powdered on a bed of unwelcome salad. Duck Magret of vegetables too cooked, cold and insipid ....idem for duck needles ....Many too cooked !presentation of plates 1/5 . dessert : the raspberry cow ... mussel fruits. We're not coming back!"

"We visted Oscar’s for lunch during our holiday visiting the area. We had heard good reviews so decided to visit. When we first arrived the reception wasn’t great. I asked if the man at the counter could speak English (I asked in French) to which he simply replied ‘no’. fair enough but it later transpired that most of the staff could speak English. Anyway we went ahead to have our meal. There was 7 of us but we were told they couldn’t sit together regardless of the restaurant being practically empty. The food was ok, I wouldn’t say anything amazing just simply ok. The chips were very over cooked but the salads were nice. Prices were fairly cheap. Our main problem was every single member of staff was miserable and unhelpful. We literally didn’t see one member of staff smile the entire time we were there, to the point that we actually felt like they were being held there against there will. Maybe they were sick of tourists already but never the less it made for a very unpleasant experience."
