What a wonderful establishment! The staff were all welcoming and friendly, and the food was delightful and reasonably priced. We will definitely be coming back.

Second visit here 2023 this time we had the mixed grill waa good but compared to a couple of years ago at another stonegate pub the meal size had shrinked quite significantly but I guess that is down to rising cost in produce but was still very good value

Amazing for sport! Screens everywhere so you can not miss the match. Food arrived piping hot and staff were incredibly friendly. They allow dogs and supply water and treats. Great atmosphere. Varna was really helpful and made us and are dog feel very welcome. Would definitely recommend. Ver carta

The staff at this restaurant are very friendly and talkative, and there are plenty of screens showing sports. We each ordered a burger and chips, which were delicious, and the deal including a drink was fantastic. The atmosphere is great, and my family and I come here often and always have a good time.

Visited Scarborough Flyer again after we enjoyed our last visit before Christmas. Staff very helpful especially Varna Tash and and i think Kaz so chatty and friendly and good knowledge of the area and food really good as usual and drinks aswel. We love this place and now that they are Dog Friendly that's a bonus

Went today for birthday lunch with family. Meal was ok. usual ding ding as expected,but fine ,hot enough,and tasty.The only problem as far as we were concerned the fact that the dog at the next table/cubicle was lifted onto the seats! in fact it was lifted onto the seats 3 separate times,in 3 separate places (between yapping its head off! into different positions So in fact the whole seating area was contaminated by a dogs backside! To think that a child would then shift along where the dog had been, and proceed to eat is disgusting! let alone if you had decent clothes on. Ver carta

I was very disappointed when I brought my partner to this restaurant in Scarborough. It was extremely cold inside, around 15 degrees Celsius. When we mentioned it to the staff, they told us that the heating was on but it was because people kept opening the door. I checked the radiators and realized I had been lied to. The food was not great, it was low quality and overcooked. It's a shame because the building itself is lovely and the location is central. Unfortunately, the poor management is causing this place to decline. We will not be returning and will advise others to avoid it as well.

Went for drinks with members of my family on the 26/1/24. As we were chatting and starting to unwind we noticed a commotion at the entrance between the doorman and a female customer. I was shocked to hear the female customer calling the doorman racist. The whole pub turned to see what was going on. When things calmed down I asked another customer who was closer to what was going on what happened and what he told us was quite upsetting. Apparently the doorman refused to let a young mixed race boy and his mother in because he was wearing joggers. Scarborough flyer has always been one of our family’s favourite bars in Scarborough. Staff are always ‘top class’ and very helpful and obliging. However, we will never return to the pub due to their door staff who are complete and utter bullies! I witnessed a lovely looking family who I feel was targeted due to one of the females having a black child with her and her family. The door staff were aggressive, and trying to snatch a drink out of a young females hands in the group and telling them to leave.
