Schiff - Menú

Sehr stimmig. Tolle Karte. Und der Text als Einleitung des Chefs ist aussergewöhnlich.

Great hotel, great location! Great breakfast. Would be even better with air conditioning.

Absolutely stunning location when the sun is out. Quiet and serene. Food is very good. Service is polite but sometime they seem very busy.

Was there for work. Food regional and well prepared. Very good service. Didn't see anything from the town. The bar is in an annex building. 5 Stars.

Location was reason why I went here. First I waited more than minutes only to order. I was waiting again very long after salad to get main dish, what was fish that came almost cold swimming in a butter together with vegetables.....after this butter...attack I wasn’t brave enough to eat second part off main dish. Btw main dish comes in parts....

I stop there often on my way to and from Zürich, Nice Ambiente inside, and wonderful garden in summer. Good fish dishes and a choise of swiss and international wine. Recomended. Somtimes the service staff is a little confused mainly by nice weather outside)...Too young people serving, and the chef de service cannot allways manage to direct them proply Is not a problem if u have time and enjoy the view and the sun.

Restaurant: A small cozy place outdoors. However, quite lackluster service. 2-1.5 hrs before 6pm no chance to sit for a coffee and deserts at empty lakefront tables because they “have to prepare for dinner”, as said by a moody lady waitress with a phone on the belt. 10 minutes waiting at reception desk, 15 minutes waiting for menu, 20 minutes waiting for 2 ice creams, 1 coffee, and a small cheese plate… ice cream was completely missing chocolate sauce vs. menu…

We were allowed to accompany the 7 Töfflibuebe, who rented the yellow Mofun Töffli from us, on their tour through the Mittelland. The Hotel Restaurant Schiff was the second destination. The welcome from the staff and the manager were very friendly and pleasant. The room with a balcony and a direct view of Lake Zurich was brilliant. Breakfast on the terrace below the trees was lovely. Unfortunately, the stay on the ship was relatively short, so we will come back, either with or without a moped.

War relativ spät zum Mittagessen im Restaurant Schiff. Service war gut, die Terrasse traumhaft. Vom Essen war ich nicht so angetan: Als Mittagsmenu gab es einen Frühlingssalat gefolgt von Tagliatelle mit Cocktail Tomaten und Spargeln. Warum ein ganz normaler ausschließlich grüner Salat mit ein paar darauf gestreuten Sonnenblumenkernen ein Frühlingssalat ist, verstehe ich nicht ganz. Bei meinen Tagliatelle mit Spargeln war keine einzige Spargelspitze drinnen sondern ausschließlich ein paar blasse grüne Spargelstiele. Leider konnte ich auch keine Cocktail Tomate orten sondern nur eine ganz normale passierte Tomatensauce bestimmt aus Cocktail Tomaten hergestellt. Schade, denn das Ambiente wäre...
