"Holiday – sunshine – sea! Magnificent for a trip. Bothmer Castle with its beautiful castle park stood on the program. The frogs in the castle park pond greeted us with a vocal rock concert (unfortunately you can't set a video with sound). After that it went to the brasserie of the Schlossgut Gross Schwansee for the second time for lunch. Brasserie des Schlossguts The restaurant of the Schlossgut had unfortunately closed at noon. The terrace of the brasserie was equipped with ample parasols. Wooden tables with herbal pot plant (with us Thymian) and comfortable seating invite you to stay. An employee gave us the menus. Shortly afterwards he was back to the place to record our wishes. We ordered: 2 liquor free, 0.33 l € 3.30. For me: Leaf salads, walnuts, grapes, honey, fried goat cheese € 14,50. For my husband: young matjes, housewife sauce, roast potatoes € 13.50. A little it took, then our dishes were served. It looked very appetizing. It was too! We were both satisfied, but the Matjes could not keep up with the day of arrival. Here the burrows were still very clearly noticeable, but the mouth felt considerably. The Matjes was good. The frying potatoes are wonderful, nicely browned with onions fried and well seasoned. The “housewife sauce” is lush – probably on Majonaise basis. Small and fine salads. Young matjes, housewife sauce, roast potatoes My salad plate was simply great. Fresh leaf salads, tomatoes, cucumbers, peppers, various types of cress. All wounded. I couldn't find any grapes, they probably were out. But more than expected on the plate. Goat cheese with optimal degree of browning, with honey and walnuts. A wonderful combination for me. Leaf salads, walnuts, honey, roasted goat's cheese And there was still the fresh thyme in front of my nose... a few leaves to be tapped and the cheese is better again! In the restaurant it is spacious and well maintained. . . Of course the guests were sitting outside in the middle of the day, but for the evening they were already covered. Each table with little flowers, as a napkin a towel. If the money isn't enough, kitchen service? I'd try it out here, too! The very well maintained toilets can be found on the first floor. I didn't see an elevator. Conclusion: Touri satisfaction is worth it. Because they also come back and recommend! It is a beautiful spot on the Baltic Sea. Die Atmosphäre ist sehr entspannt und ich habe einen Tisch ohne Reservierung bekommen. Das Essen gebratene Scholle mit Bratkartoffeln und Gurkensalat schmeckte wirklich vorzüglich. Störend beim Essen waren die vielen, lästigen Fliegen im Gastraum. Der grüne Tee hat leider zu lange gezogen. Das sollte dem Gast überlassen werden. Der Service war sehr freundlich. Very tidy, rich and varied breakfast, but the buffet in the evening was rather mass rather than great.
