"Seven of us came to Meiningen for dinner last night of our trip and were not disappointed. Good food (and we especially appreciate the senior dish smaller parts of the main dishes for older people). There was an Amuse Bouche to begin and... my melt in the mouth pork cakes were very delicious and served with dumplings, a local specialty. We had a selection of good wines (the unexpectedly tasteful Saale Unstrut) and on this special evening enjoyed the pleasant experience outside in sunshine against the background of the elegant Elisabeth Castle."

the buffet is something amazing. The duck is something that i never had before. Perfectly cooked, and the atmosfera is very cozy. RACCOMANDED

A really great meal - as always with a great menu and super service. The English menu makes it easy for visitors to feel at home and the waiting staff are also fluent.

After our visit to the Schloss, we had lunch at the Schlossstuben. The atmosphere was very nice, the food and beer were very good and the service was friendly and accomodating.

Very accommodating staff and pleasant atmosphere. Regional specialties and good variety in menu, with impressive salad bar. Best enjoyed for evening dining, but a comfortable lunch spot as well.
