"I visited Schreiberhaus as part of a large group (30 people). Although it seemed quite touristic, we had a great time! Dinner was spread over the course of a few hours. The food was served family style: platters of pate, dishes of salads (cucumbers, tomatoes, and potato), brown bread, roast pork, ham, baked chicken, weiner schnitzel, roasted potatoes. The food was very good, especially the Weiner Schnitzel, potatoes, and apple strudel with vanilla sauce. There were also bottles of delicious white wine and water on the table. They had a fiddle player and an accordion player providing entertainment: singing a variety of songs from Austrian folk songs and international favorites."

Went with large group. Food quite good and the white wine was delicious. Service family style and efficient. Live music provided, which enhanced the overall experience. Probably best experienced as part of group.

Sehr freundliche Bedienung, gutes Essen und unglaublich gemütlicher Gastgarten. Auch der Innenbereich ist entzückend und das alte Wiener Herz schlägt hier noch. Besonders empfehlenswert ist der hausgemachte Knoblauchaufstrich mit frischem Brezerl oder Wachauerlaberl!

Die haben jetzt viele neue vegane Speisen, das ist wirklich nett, so findet sich die ganze Familie etwas und generell eher selten für einen Heurigen. Leider war das Klo ziemlich dreckig und das Sellerie-Schnitzel recht langweilig. Ich hoffe aber, die bekommen das in Zukunft noch hin und würde ihnen daher nochmal einen Besuch abstatten.

Wir feierten am 20.5.2022 dei Hochzeit meines Sohnes Ich kann diesen Heurigen nur empfehlen. Sehr freundliche Bedienung, Essen wunderbar, wenn möglich wird jeder Wunsch erfüllt.Da es an diesem Tag 30° hatte, saßen wir im sehr schönen Gastgarten, umgeben von Weingärten wo ein wunderbares Lüfterl wehte. Danke nochmals für den gelungenen Tag und an das sehr nette Personal

We were on a tour that included this as an optional dinner. So glad we decided to go! The food was outstanding! They started with a bounty of veggies, cheeses, meats and breads before continuing with the main course! We were treated with the best...roasted chicken I have ever had. There was ham, pork and sauerkraut served as well. Desert was homemade apple strudel. All of this wonderful food was accompanied by a great duo playing music! You can buy lots of what is served in the deli section of the restaurant. Great spot!!

In a former farmhouse and on the same site for more than 300 years, this tavern is a pure delight for dinner. Starters are a selection of spreads to accompany the dense, dark bread, along with pickled chilies, onions and baby corn. Entrees are ham,...chicken and sausage, again in unlimited quantities platter after platter, and sponge cake with vanilla ice cream for dessert. Authentic Austrian food but it's definitely the unlimited red or white wine carafes that got my attention! Location is deep in the Vienna Woods with stunning views of the city, simply stunning after dark.
