Seattle Steak House

Very quiet in the restaurant , however the service excellent. Food nicely cooked, steaks all delicious. Highly recommend a visit. My only gripe we stated on booking Anniversary celebration, but the staff not informed. Just beware of the service charge added automatically to bill.

Four of us had lunch there (rib-eye steaks after a concert. Attentive and courteous staff, steaks delicious and done just right. (My medium was a bit on the rare side, so next time I 'll ask for medium well . The Merlot was a bit rough, but the Shiraz was excellent. We 'll certainly eat there again soon.

Went here last night and it was so good! The food was great, I had steak and ribs, the steak was excellent and the ribs were the best i’ve ever tasted hands down. The staff were really attentive and welcoming, they were also friendly and nice to talk to. A great local restaurant and will definitely be returning. Ver carta

What a great restaurant Boxmoor Steakhouse is. I took mywife there for her birthday dinner and the evening was excellent. The service was and food was first class. They even went to the trouble of putting up a 'Happy Birthday ' Banner above my wife 's seat. I was allowed to bring a birthday cake and they even decorated the plate the cake came on. I cannot recomend the restaurant enough! Thank you Boxmoor Steakhouse

During our three-night stay in Hertfordshire, my wife and I were pleased to discover the Boxmoor Steakhouse just a short walk away. We were so impressed with our first dining experience that we came back for more on our last night. The food was excellent and the staff were friendly and attentive. We look forward to visiting Hertfordshire again in the future, and will definitely be returning to the Boxmoor Steakhouse.

My wife and I were in Hemel Hempstead on Saturday 15th October, on our way to Tilbury. After wandering the streets in search of a place to eat, we stumbled upon this restaurant and were extremely pleased. The welcome we received upon entering the restaurant was warm and the service quality remained top-notch throughout our visit. The food was also delicious and reasonably priced. We can't speak highly enough of all the staff and would not hesitate to return if we find ourselves in the area again. Kudos to everyone involved – keep up the great work! Ver carta

This was our second visit to this restaurant, and once again the service was slow and inattentive. We had to approach the staff to be served. It seems like they don't understand the concept of serving hot plates, as our steak was overcooked by the time it reached our table. The Mac and cheese arrived five minutes before the steak, forcing us to reheat it on the hot plate. Unfortunately, it lacked flavor. Later that night, I became violently ill and my partner experienced hot sweats, a fever, and dizziness. As I had only eaten at the restaurant that day, it is likely that the food caused our sickness. I would not return to this establishment, and I am surprised by the positive reviews it has...

Had a meal here tonight with my girlfriend. Been wanting to try this place for a while as the exotic meats really sounded appealing. We arrived without a reservation after the gym amd were seated quickly, the manageress(luca? was the only FOH member working but this didnt stop her giving friendly efficient service, not forgetting to check if we needed any further drinks and always doing a check back on our courses. I can't even explain how many things were completely rubbish. The first table we sat at had some kind of slimy brown gunk on the underside, which kept transferring to our clothes. Even once we'd moved to a new table, everything felt grubby. The glasses weren't clean enough to drink from and had to be sent back. The floor however WAS clean. We know this because it had just been mopped and was completely wet and dangerously slippery. Every single table was wobbly. There were quite a few staff around but most seemed very vague and slow and apparently only one person was capable of taking orders.
