Seb'on - Carta

My boyfriend and I were lucky to have two local Parisian friends arrange reservations at Seb'on the first night we arrived. It was a fabulous experience and the food was amazing!

One of the best food experiences I've had in Paris. Please book in advance as it seemed quite popular. I went there alone on a weekday evening around 22:00 and got the best service and the best tasting food ever. Very price worthy and supposedly the menu changes often as well.

The food was lovely and the service was good. The food was a little more expensive and smaller than I thought it would be but it was still a lovely evening. Just off what I presume is the red light district though - careful walking through it! 3 choices of starter, main and dessert. All very lovely. Provided wonderful bread for the table. Ver carta

This is a great place to eat well thought-out food. We ate starters and mains, didn't have time for dessert unfortunately, and it was all delicious. It is fairly pricey but you can taste the quality in the food. The wine menu is pricey but well-chosen. It's a romantic place to eat, classy French cooking that is served up with love and flair.

We were in awe of how these 2 person team would be able to churn out such wonderful food and experience. Quaint little restaurant, the 3 selections each from the appetizers, entrees, and deserts made it easy for us. Selection of wines was also excellent. Not crazy about the neighborhood you have to go through to get here, but would return in a heartbeat.

The food at this restaurant was delicious. The menu is simple with just a few options that were perfectly executed. We had the beef pie to start with, duck for the main and we shared a panna cotta desert. The service though was quite slow and unobservant. Catching the eye of the waiter, even when he seemed to be doing nothing, was tricky. With only 7 tables, this should not be difficult... Ver carta

I have given some Paris restaurants five stars, but Seb'on is the best of them. The menu only has three of each category -- appetizers, main course and dessert. If this is not enough choice for you, it may leave you unhappy. However, this allows one person to provide amazing quality. The service was good and friendly. In good restaurants in France, each dish is served seconds after it is ready -- I wish this were the case in the US.

We came in, by chance, at 7pm on Wednesday. We saw the review on trip advisor and thought it looked good, and we were just a few hundred meters away at the time. The water took us in although we did not have a reservation, as one table of 4 just canceled (while we were there several other walk ins were turned away, so be sure to book!) The food was incredibly good and wine pairings were excellent. Prior to writing this review I could see that ZB was angry and annoyed that the waiter could not cater to him or her. The point of this small restaurant is to have a small menu, offering just a few items, and do these dishes well. If you have special dietary requirements you should explain this at...

I called Seb'on months ago to book a table at 2.30pm, after a bike tour of Paris. I arrive and said (in french) " Hi, I have made a reservation under [my name]" and the waiter/owner's reaction was unexpected - he nearly laughs me off and said "I absolutely do not have a reservation under that name". Ok, not the nicest welcome. He followed with "but anyway we have tables available". We did, but at this point I already want to leave.When I explained our dietary requirements, he puffed, and said ok well let me ask the chef.
