"Visited on Wednesday, few people there when we arrived and it quickly filled up. Good atmosphere. Service was good and allowed lots of time between courses. Fod was impressive. My starter of goats cheese and mushroom was lovely and my partner had the super sized pigs in blanket with a mustard sauce. Two good sized Cumberland Sausages wrapped in bacon which was part of the Christmas menu. Partner thought they were really tasty. For main I had the half rack of ribs, skinny fries, coleslaw and chicken coated in a KFCesque batter all of which were delicious. Partner had a cheeseburger and chunky chips which was excellent. The owners also own the Rose and Castle which is equally as good. Prices are reasonable, thoroughly recommend. Had a very enjoyable evening."

"We were returning from London airport to the midlands and googled a nice place to eat, we found Rebecca's kitchen and it said it closed at 5 pm but when we went to order around 4.10 pm the kitchen had already closed at 4 pm making us miss the chance to try the menu flavors. Rebeca’s kitchen is located inside a farm shop, the place is very well decorated and the menu is very attractive, but unfortunately it will be for next time because the opening hours were not updated on Google. It was worth the visit because we ended up buying at the farm shop, which by the way is the best I've ever visited, it's clean, with an infinity of incredibly fresh products that are hard to find in a regular farm shop."

"Had a wonderful lunch there..home cooked ham two fried eggs exactly as I requested..very hot chips and peas..one of their many lunch time specials...very reasonably priced . This must be one of the best kept pubs in UK in a beautiful award winning village. Fresh carnations at every table..plants on all the window sills and although a traditional pub with oak beams and a fireplace . ...it was light ...airy ..lots of windows and the service was quick friendly and hospitable. The host was there when we were leaving and anxious to know if we enjoyed our meals. I seldom leave a review but always read them ..but wanted to let other readers know I and companion heartily recommend The Pheasant for ambience food and service."

"We are locals but had not visited this restaurant before as there are three good pubs closer to us. However, this time we decided to stop by as we walked past and were pleasantly surprised to find a table available despite the busy atmosphere. The menu offered a good selection of traditional pub dishes with a few vegan options. We were impressed by the affordable prices and wondered what the quality of the food would be like. The bar was bustling, but we were served quickly by the friendly and efficient Anne. The variety of beers was great and Anne poured a perfect pint. Our meals were delicious and well worth the price. I tried to pay for another pint with my card, but the minimum spend was £5.00, which was not a problem as my pint of Moretti only cost £4.30 – much cheaper than at my local pubs. We enjoyed our visit and will definitely return. The atmosphere near the lively bar was enjoyable, but there are quieter tables in the main dining area and a peaceful conservatory as well. Although I was disappointed that the mixed grill had sold out, I was pleased with my tasty chicken curry and Roses soup. The beer was excellent quality."

"Went last night for our wedding anniversary. From start to finish we both loved the night. Waiter was friendly and funny/chatty, both meals were perfect without any issues and drinks came out straight away. Restaurant was near fully booked so glad we booked ahead as we did see a few couple arrive later and we think we turned away due to lack of tables. The sign of any good place is a customer returning and we noticed a number of tables speaking to the staff about what they had last time as well as stating they'd see them again soon. Also on this groups who couldn't sit in opted to eat outside just so to have a meal. We will be going back again for sure."
