"I was visiting the beer bar opposite (which doesn't have a particularly interesting selection of beer on tap... don't bother) and I noticed a tandoori opposite. How could I have not learned by now? Never, ever, bother eating Indian in France.I put all previous experience to one side, however, and thought "they can't all be terrible can they?", and decided to give it a try. Silly me.The first thing you (don't) notice is the smell - there isn't any. An Indian restaurant is supposed to smell of the spices - this place doesn't have any. And that gives you some idea of the pathetic bland tasteless rubbish you're going to be served. The 'Vindaloo' has zero resemblance to a real vindaloo. The 'aloo' is supposed to signify potatoes - it doesn't have any. Not one single element of spiciness, just some disgusting dry goo that makes it look like dog food. Except I would be ashamed to serve to a dog this vile excuse for 'Indian food'.The pitiful thing was that the place was full, and everyone seemed to be lapping it up - and the number of four and five star 'reviews' on here? Is the French understanding of Indian food really so bad that they think this revolting garbage is any good?Don't go here, please."

First experience in Indian food. I loved it! I was afraid it was too spicy but finally it was a good discovery. Nice and fast service.

We travel to India every year and we have eaten so called ''Indian food'' in lots of places, the food here is the best i have had outside india. The lamb was so soft you could cut it with a spoon, the naan soft and hot.Service attentive and fast.Go and have a great evening.

Nice lil place tucked in one of the side streets. I was talked into trying their vindaloo by the owner who was a friendly chap. Atmosphere was good and it was busy. Wasn't too pleased about their chicken vindaloo, didn't look appealing. my suspicion is that it was not freshly cooked as the food was out within a few minutes. Next time I will stick to my choice of food and will be willing to give this place another go just on the basis the owner was very welcoming. My recommendation to them is they should spend a little more on the food presentation.

This restaurant is very busy. I had dinner around 8:00 pm. It had quite a few tables free. The service was prompt and attentive. However, the menu was limited, it seems, to main courses and it had vegetarian options. I had a vindaloo chicken. All courses are served with basmati rice. The vindaloo was good, but not exceptional. However, as I neared the end of my meal, l got a sense that I should leave as the place was filling rapidly. It did not feel very relaxing. Maybe that was just me. I would have preferred to have more options, such as an entree.
