"Just had the unfortunate experience of visiting one of the worst Irish pubs in the world. The staff is a combination of surly, obnoxious, and incompetent. I ordered a pint of Murphy's and the bartender had to switch kegs in the middle of a pour. She poured a new pint, but what she gave me was bitter swill that was totally undrinkable. When I pointed out to her that there was a problem, she argued with me and walked away. Since there was another Irish pub just a couple blocks away, I decided to just pay my bill and head over there. Unfortunately, this turned into a 15 minute long process, because the bartender was still perturbed at me and refused to come over and take my money. It wasn't until I stood up, put my coat and gloves on, and was able to flag down another staff member, that she finally deigned to take my money from me. And lest you think that my mistake was going to an Irish pub in Germany, the other pub was perfectly fine (The Dubliner). Don't make the same mistake I did by walking into the Shamrock and expecting a friendly Irish pub with good drink and good craic. This is definitely not the place for either."
