"too high was a table ordered....and we were back too early and asked with two edible: nanu? will have opened on the display boards stood 11.30 clock, it was already 11.38 clock and we were still standing in front of the closed door. will have opened or do not celebrate? we have grilled. he grabbed the door lock and shook easily. to make nix, that remained dense. we had only thought when we went to the neighboring portugiesen that opened the door. we wanted to sit outside because it was jet day. from this reason we asked the waiter to open the sunshades because the sun had made an enormous and we did not want our drinks to evaporate. we had a small pilger (0,3l and a bottle of mineral water (0,7l a small water (0,2l) cost 2,10 € the large bottle was rented for 4,70 € all. beforehand there was a fresh, crispy salate, consisting of salat gurkenscheiben, small kiefer, green salate and crumble salad. the red currydressing was sweet and tasted excellent and so we stopped the dinge that should come. we waited 35 minutes for the main dish, which was still okay. the service was nice and it worked all smoothly. a small basmati reis and a cold with the bombay duck ordered by me (tenfilet in crater curry sauce for 13.90 € were placed on the table before me. first it looked clear, and I regretted that I had already ordered the fladenbrot, but at the end I was pappsatt and then it is no longer possible. I thought of the sweet dressed salate, which was also wrapped in red curry, took the first bite. the starving was overwhelmed....still a happiness....but one....Krch! okay, that was quite hot! the automatic handle to the waterglass proved to be a mistake. instead of deleting, the water-stinctive seemed to relieve the mark even more. I have been bravely tortured and continued to stumble, and finally the teller was empty! at least I could hardly see the sweet taste that was integrated into the sauce. my dessert were light coughs and swollen lips. I must say that I am not used to eating sharp, so that practicing would probably smile at this dish. I was a bit too much (my guidance was similar, and I'll test another one next time."

Excellent Italian restaurant with very friendly and helpful staff. The cook is an absolute professional. I like the open kitchen where you can watch the cooks at work. Here it is worth booking a table when you land in Harburg.

As the only Indian restaurant in Harburg area (at least most search results say so), we didn't had many options to try from. Went there for a little late lunch on a Saturday and the place was kind of half full. It's not a big...restaurant from inside but the ambience is quite good and staff is friendly and helpful. We ordered Chilli Paneer Masala, Chana masala and daal. All the dishes were very tasty, especially Chilli Paneer, and also the quantity of the dishes was good, naans were also OK, if not the best. We found the starters in the menu to be quite expensive as the waiter said they would serve only pieces of pakora for a starter dish of about roughly Euro. But the good thing is waiter t...

After some changes were made to the staff, I was back for the first time in the Al Limone and had Saltimbocca alla Romana for the evening, with the house wine. Good homemade bread was brought with olives and garlic oil as a greeting from the kitchen. The salad on the front was fresh and crisp, but the salad sauce seemed to be a finished product. The main court was appealing. The Saltimbocca was good, not overwhelming, the salbeisauce lacked salbeisauce and white wine. The grill, which served as a supplement, was very good, crisp, had beautiful roasted flavors, was well tasted. The rosemary apples had unfortunately never seen rosemary and some tasted like they were lying in the refrigerator s...

We like Indian cuisine a lot and are always looking for a good place in Hamburg and vicinity. Most of the Indian restaurants however, serve 'germanized' food, adapted to the German palate, too greasy and by far not spicy enough. We discovered this restaurant on the way to our favorite Portuguese restaurant in the same stretch.Being vegetarians, we enjoyed the multitude of veggie dishes and tried two sampling combos and were positively surprised, the samosas and pakoras were well prepared, not only filled with alloo(potatoes) but different veggies and nicely seasoned, and crspy, but not overly. The main dishes with channa, dhal, and seitan were really good and tasted seriously different for both... I love the Pakistani cuisine and had the pleasure of being able to enjoy it at the end of february 2013 even before the place – on the occasion of a private visit to the Pakistani cultural metropolis lahore. For ten days I could taste some of the better and more interesting restaurants with local guides. for example, the natives with the probably best view of the city: Coocoo’s den. [here link] otherwise we were supplied with completely freshly prepared home cooking from our host and cook (which is specialized in marinating and then grilling) on the morning, midday and evening. finished products were tinted. Therefore I was pleased to announce the Pakistani restaurant kaghan as qyperin for t...

"There's always a question (in my mind, anyway) as to Michelin's accuracy/usefulness outside of France. In the US, it's not very helpful at all and in Europe ex-France, I've found it hit and miss. Haerlin represented only my second stab at a two-star in Germany and the first meal (Heinz Winkler), while a thoroughly wonderful overall experience, felt like the second star might have been a stretch. Not so at Haerlin, this was a two-star meal that stands fork-to-fork with any I can remember. The food is stylized to within an inch of its life, but close to flawless in both conception and execution. Outside of a large selection of generally unremarkable breads and a luke-warm roasted onion broth added to an amuse at table side that probably should have been hotter, the meal was simply one perfect dish after another. Maybe the sorbet intermezzo was a little old school in such a fashion forward meal, but - hey - it was delicious! Keep it.The room is suitably formal, luxurious in a traditional style, and quite comfortable. The pace of service might be a little leisurely for some (I ate alone and the four-course menu (seven + courses, including amuses, etc) pushed it a bit, stretching just over three hours. However, the friendly and attentive staff kept an eye out the entire time and stopped by if the time between courses presented the opportunity. The somm, in particular, was a great diversion, visiting from time to time to discuss the varied and interesting wines on offer. He provided useful insight into the outstanding selection of trocken Rieslings on the list. He guided me to a 2001 Burklin-Wolf GG that, at Eu 150, was both a great bottle of mature white and a tremendous value for a wine of this quality in this type of restaurant. (Good luck finding a white burgundy of this quality at this price at any multi-star restaurant - or at retail, for that matter.) He also suggested a wonderful German Pinot Noir by the glass that worked perfectly with the meat course and wasn't terribly expensive. The list is extensive, but not the tome you see at some restaurants, but don't be fooled - wine service at Haerlin is both a major plus and represents notable value in the context of multi-star restaurants.I'm not going to argue two-star vs three-star because that distinction often seems to be kind of mysterious (and tangentially related to the food), but I will say that this place certainly deserves two stars. I had just a flat-out great meal. If you can work in a visit, Haerlin should be high on your list."
