I had a three-course meal for £22. It was alright. The restaurant was a bit dark and gloomy in my opinion. The staff were pleasant and the service was quite good.

Restaurant cancelled our booking with a couple of days notice saying that they were fully booked but hadn’t bothered updating their availability with Open Table! Disgusting example of customer service. Don’t think we will be going there nor will everybody we will be sharing our experience with.

A nice restaurant with friendly staff but were brought the wrong starter three times and had to ask after forty five minutes when the waitress presumed we were asking after main course,very slow service another half an hour for mains;wanted to give a good review but the service was poor and the food was average.

Upon our arrival, we were disappointed to learn that the dinner-for-two-with-wine option was not available. While our meal was of decent quality, we found that the prices were comparable to, or even exceeded, those of other bistros in central Harrogate that offer a more inviting atmosphere and a broader selection of dishes.

I had the stuffed pfefferstarter that was really delicious. my man had the goat cheese starter that was absolutely delicious. we had both the confit duck with the kartoffels and roasted vegetables. it was nothing wrong with cooking, but it was all a little too fat for us. service was very good. the waiters were very helpful.

I ordered the stuffed pepper appetizer, which was incredibly delicious. My husband had the goat cheese starter, which he thoroughly enjoyed. For our main course, we both had the confit duck with mashed potatoes and roasted vegetables. While the cooking was well done, we found it to be a bit too greasy for our liking. The service was excellent, with attentive and helpful waitstaff.

We have stayed at the Kimberley hotel several times but I was not as impressed this time with the food. Our booking deal included a course meal on the first night. My husband chose battered cod and I had the filleted fish. The battered fish was served lying on top of the chips which had been arranged in a row. He found the batter quite oily/greasy which he did not eat but consequently that had left the chips underneath soggy. My fish was nicely cooked. I was also upset to see that several of the courses had a supplement and therefore not offered in the choices unless an extra cost was incurred which further limited the already limited menu.
