"waited 1 and half an hour for cold eating to supply I my ice cold not only cold hot. took cold eating back to the restaurant where I was told I would have microwave it worth eating £30 that I should warm. to myself. a freshly cooked order was offered in 10 minutes. I came home with my freshly cooked meal! to find it, the returned meal was only microshaft. After waiting for me to eat for 2 hours, I starved and just ate twice cooked, let us hope I won't get sick). after all this waiting around and rude service from the restaurant was eating absolutely disgusting bland soggy and tasteless. would never come back and warn that no one from here cannot order."

The dining experience was incredibly disappointing! Not a single aspect of our meal met acceptable standards. When I inquired about the quality, I was simply told, "we are busy."

We ordered a simple last minute meal at 8.45pm and on arriving home found a very unappealing meal, greasy, dark double fried soggy prawn balls and pancake rolls, claggy rice, all for £15, absolutely will not buy from this takeaway again.

I found that eating here very tasty. it was hot and the load was cleanly maintained. the staff was very polite. I read the other reviews and came to the conclusion that I should not accept an announcement. I can only say it was very tasty hot and plentiful.

Literally do not order a takeaway, it’s the most disgusting I’ve ever had. I have an amazing takeaway near wear I live and so have a comparison to this place. Chicken satay was unidentifiable meat as was shredded chicken. Special fried rice was some brown...muck and the only good things were the bean sprouts.

I waited two hours for my order without any updates about the delay. The chili bark was soggy, the meat was bland, and the chicken balls were tough. I understand it's a holiday evening, but that doesn’t excuse the lack of quality. To top it off, the food was stone cold, which really took away from the experience.

We had chicken satay to start that was served with a very bland peanut sauce that had a soup like consistency. The chicken itself was tough and chewy. This is pre prepared frozen food that is heated through, it is awful. The duck was...tiny and served in chewy pancakes that were again hard and sealed together. There are many other local options that are so much better but I would not order again. Takeaway for 2 was just over £30.

Ordered £50+ meal which arrived nearly 40 minutes later than promised. Food was awful stodgy noodles pancake roll dripping in grease ribs more fat than meat worst ever. On complaining was spoken to in a very rude manner and told they...would do nothing about it even though we offered them to come back and collect the food as we couldnt eat it. We have been using them for 10 years on and off and after this experience (more the rudeness of the staff) we will NEVER use them again! Totally disappointed from start to finish.

I ordered a meal from Sin Le last night and had it delivered to my home, which is several miles away from the restaurant. I was pleasantly surprised that the food arrived very hot. I tried the BBQ spare ribs, but I found the sauce—if you could even call it that—quite unusual. It was not only very watery but also didn't taste anything like barbecue sauce. I also had roast pork fried rice and sweet and sour chicken balls. While they were passable, I felt they were overpriced for what they offered. Overall, I don't think I'll be in a hurry to return.

"Having been raised at the knees of Caribbean and African women, sometimes I’m just in need of some soul food. I’ve often gone past Mullins and seen that it is busy, and looks bright, clean, warm and friendly. And it is. The decor works really well. Low-key, warm and welcoming. Music is a soothing stream of lilting Caribbean classics. The waiting staff are lovely. So friendly. And the menu looks great. There isn’t too much of it, and it is quite hard to choose because it all sounds amazing. Price points are really good. But. The food is genuinely terrible. I went for a Creole fish stew. I don’t know how you can make a stew without flavour. When you are cooking things slowly and together, flavour infuses flavour. But not here. This was a good sized portion of piping hot well presented food. But my God it tasted awful. Basically chopped potato surrounded by small lumps of bland unidentifiable white fish, half a dozen mussels, some of which were still closed, and therefore inedible, and three flavourless prawns in shells. There was a pinch of Samphire on the top, and this was the sum total of the vegetables I could find. It came in what I can only describe as a thick red sauce. If there was tomato in it, there was no flavour to it. It was highly salty, and this was the dominant flavour throughout. The fish had no flavour of fish, and it was intensely spiced in a lip plumping way. Essentially, it was all heat and salt. With a slight tang of gents toilets. I suspect this was from the mussels. I did raise the blandness twice with the waiter, and the strange unpleasant toilet flavour. He said he would tell chef. And that was that. No feedback on the dreadful flavour other than that it was all fresh. I ate the entirety of the meal because I had travelled a long way and had not eaten. I saw it simply as fuel. It was not enjoyable. I paid and left. Mullins is so close to getting everything right, but a restaurant is its food. I’m not going back."
