Had nice lunch (I had Lemon and herb chicken with mash, peas and gravy and pudding (millionaires shortbread a bit small! and then stayed chatting for hours. No one moved us on even though we did not buy anymore drinks."

I've been working abroad for many years and returned back to area for 6 months in between contracts. Spoons in Deal is lovely safe place staff are great. Nat. George Pete are especially friendly and welcoming they are a great asset to the business.

We have visited this Wetherspoons before but were disappointed with the burgers this time. My beefburger was tasteless and burnt. The chicken was better. Service was quick but led me to believe that the food was prepared in a hurry. The staff were friendly. The toilet facilities were good.
