"We were a party of for Sunday lunch venturing out to a restaurant for first time since March. Our initial concerns for safety were immediately banished on arrival. The tables were appropriately spaced, the staff wore masks and the toilets were reassuringly clean and limited to one person at a time. Hand gel was available at several strategic locations and its use politely encouraged.We chose courses from the a la carte menu there was no Prix Fixe on offer and we all enjoyed our choices. Service was attentive but unpretentious and better for that"

We had the lunch time menu which was a very limited menunot a lot to choose from.We had the belly of pork and the cod which were both presented well but very salty.Hope to revisit soon and try the evening menu

The meal was good quality and it is a very nice place. It’s not cheap our meal cost us north of each but bog standard meals in a pub in the area can cost and leave you feeling you could have cooked better staying at home. This meal I definitely could not have cooked at home

We wanted our first meal out to be special,especially as it was our wedding anniversary, and the Wife of Bath did not disappoint. The service was excellent, friendly yet not obtrusive and the food was absolutely delicious. The restaurant had worked hard to create a safe yet still pleasant dining experience.
