Outstandingly good. Great dining room and views, super food, very nice service, excellent value. Not possible to fault, frankly which is quite something given how remote it is. Absolutely worth the journey though

I stopped by for coffee and cake, and both were fantastic! The staff was extremely helpful, and the hygiene standards were excellent and COVID-safe. The trip was definitely worth it. A week later, I tried the seafood plate, which was also amazing!

This was a welcome stop for us on the last day of our summer break before returning to Castletown on the mainland. We enjoyed a very nice lunch with seafood, followed by excellent dessert. The views from here are fantastic, but also most views in Orkney. Ver carta

We went to see the tomb of the otters and the tour guide called Lisa was an absolute delight, very enthusiastic and knowledgeable. We had scallops and seafood platter in the restaurant which was served by friendly staff and was very high quality. Well worth the trip back from the other end of the island.

Absolutely wonderful dining experience! Everything is locally sourced and incredibly fresh. The chowder, scallops, and fish plate were the best I've ever had. It was excellent! The customer service was outstanding, and the food was delicious with reasonable prices. The sushi roll was served fresh from the kitchen. The seafood platter offered a great variety of seafood. We absolutely loved the rhubarb and pea salad, as well as the Orkney fudge cheesecake, which was made on-site. It’s a quiet and relaxing spot for lunch by the coast.

Cozy bistro ideal for small families, boasting an incredible location. Everything we tried was fresh and delicious. The fish selection was so good that you'd want to lick the bowl! The scallops were stunning and cooked to perfection. The seafood platter was thoughtfully prepared, offering a great variety and ample portions for lunch. While getting here isn’t the easiest journey, it's certainly worth the trip!

Delicious food and great location. Agree with some of the other comments about a member of staff being slightly rude. We had just eaten lunch and desert and when leaving went to quickly take some photos, but were quizzed if we had been in the restaurant. When I answered yes, the reply was 'are you sure!? ' After paying for food, it was a little rude, however I understand they don 't want people using the car park. But perhaps a little more courtesy towards paying customers.
