"The Slaughterhouse has been the absolute highlight of two phenomenal bike rides exploring the Black Isle (one road and one gravel incase you were wondering). One visit was on one of the busiest summer days of the year and the patio was packed, but we (three sweaty cyclists) were still greeted with smiles and excellent service. We ordered one of each of the available cakes to ensure we didn't miss out on anything, a sound decision, they were delish. The place has a fantastic vibe in the summer time, loads of locals and travellers enjoying the sun at the coast. Our other visit, in the depths of winter, was when the coffee shop was quieter but the Hygge vibes were top notch. The cute little fire place made us hesitant to get back out on the bikes in the cold. I can thoroughly recommend this place to everyone. My mum even travelled all the way from Aberdeenshire for a visit after my recommendation, and she, as a far more experienced coffee drinker than me, was impressed."

Cute cosiest coffee shop around, great vibes wonderful coffee and warm and cozy. Definitely recommend popping in here if you are in Cromarty, I just wish there had been some more sweet treats left, I guess I'll just have to come back one day!
