stayed in the ageas bowl and found this jewel of a local pub after a walk. very hospitable and hospitable, stayed on sat for a meal and booked for sun dinner, excellent eating and drinking and service many thanks

I visited this restaurant for a friend's wake. The staff were fantastic, the food was delicious, and the drinks, especially the vodka passion fruit cocktails, were served quickly and were excellent. I highly recommend trying the cocktails! Ver carta

Popped in here at lunchtime with a colleague. Simple jacket potato lunch. Absolutely delicious. Stayed locally so came back for dinner. Again the food was outstanding and the welcome warm. Bravo! These places are too few and far between. Swerve off the anytime and...enjoy!!! Simply brilliant.

I had a wonderful experience at this restaurant. Children were playing in the garden and men were playing cards at the bar. Cricket and darts were on the TV. Families and friends were enjoying drinks, chatting, and singing. It was a pleasant atmosphere. I had a satisfying meal of steak, chips, peas, mushrooms, and onion rings. The food was simple but delicious. The staff were attentive and friendly. It was a lovely evening with plenty of parking available. I highly recommend this restaurant.

We happened to spot a road sign and decided to investigate. Megan, the waitress, welcomed us and took us to a well lit table in a conservatory. We ordered some fresh sea bass and a homemade steak and ale pie reasonably priced. The plates and...meals were hot and tasted delicious. The vegetables were well presented and properly cooked. We both shared an Eaton Mess which which we found to be rather filling. It served us right! Being a pub restaurant there is a wide selection of beers as well as a couple of real ales. To the rear there is a beer garden with a couple of play activities for the younger children. The food choice made a great change to what's normally on offer in the larger pub cha... Ver carta
