"Lovely cosy inviting space, very friendly staff but WHAT is it with not being able to have coffee made with full fat milk ?? So many cafés don't offer it anymore we should have the choice. The baked potato was ok, but there is only so much onion one can eat with a baked potato especially when I had to search for the tiny amount of cheese on it. Great power points for customer use. All in all not a great experience I'm afraid"

"I don't recommend this place and wont eat there again. Oil wasn’t fresh, chips portion generous but you have to take out a lot of nasty potatoes with big black bits, I presume goes through the machine but nobody bothers to take the mouldy bits out…. I only had a handful of chips clean looking chips but still had stomach cramps after and felt sick rest of the day. Avoid."

"Además, en el corazón de la montaña del parque natural del cairngorm nunca hay una falta de visitantes que entre muchas otras cosas exigen, a veces, su ración de los peces y chips clásicos (pescado frito con chips). tener hijos locales, porque incluso uno mismo pasa esto antes que va a la más famosa de la calle principal, de la cual todos hablan y a la que todos van. y eso es olor, limpio, atento, rápido y con productos de primera calidad que incluso los más detractores de este producto británico tendrán que calmar un poco boca buen producto y lugar donde se vende mucho más que pescado y chips, entre los cuales encontramos harpes, haggis y productos similares. lugar muy de moda incluso entre los más pequeños que después de haberlo probado no tengo ninguna objeción a recomendar para una comida informal, con los peces y fichas clásicos o sin ella, smiffy's es el lugar a ir si estamos en aviemore."

"When our food arrived, the portions were generous and absolutely delicious. The staff remained very attentive despite the busy atmosphere, making time to engage in friendly conversation and providing excellent customer service. I didn't take many photos of the food this time as we were all quite hungry. The burgers are always a delight, but the highlight for me was the chicken Caesar salad—it was one of the best I’ve ever had! So delicious! We will definitely be back. There’s truly nothing to criticize about this place."

"We come for years now and it is definitely the best place in town, especially since the Cairngorm Brewery took it over. The food is very delicious and special requirements are not a problem. The staff is very friendly and nice and always there if you need anything. And by the way: six real ale on tap, a wide range of bottled beers and a good range of whisky is more than you need in one evening It always is like coming home, especially because we always get our table at the window (thanks Morag for everything ."
