"Spice 6 has been run by the same family for years and they are a very welcoming and friendly team. This was a takeaway visit consistent with the current restrictions. The starters of shish kebab, prawn puri and onion bhaji were all fresh and...very tasty. Mains of butter chicken, chicken kalimirsh and daal makni were all very flavoursome. Accompanying nan and rice dishes were fine. The daal dishes they prepare are well worth a try even for a dedicated meat-eater! The kebab is usually great. Their menu has a North Indian slant and food is subtly spiced. We are local: over the years we have been all through the menu a few times and they don’t disappoint. The service and decor are a cut above and when circumstances again allow I would recommend this to locals and visitors, on a night out, date or a birthday/office do. The team is small, so a large group may have longer to wait, however this is understandable when dishes are fresh made. They offer a 10% discount if you collect your order. These good folks run a fine curry house, deserve our support, and I hope this review encourages you to give them a try."

with the absolute tastes of the food we have ordered, one has retreated: the disc and chicken biryanis were incredibly tasty with perfect balance of seasoned and chili. rice was fluffy and light, which never eat oily. also impresses because w inexpensive!

It's an upscale restaurant. Ambience is beautiful and decor is excellent. Food vegetarian and non vegetarian both are good. Especially Biryanis. Service and hospitality is warm. Good collection of wines and whisky. Staff is courteous and helpful. One must go with family and friends.

Ordered takeaway, the chefs special squid was far from special it was cold and the smallest portion for £7.25 (see picture attached). Also the chilli paneer only had 5 pieces of paneer for £7... No value for money, the food was cold and quite frankly...having eaten here for many years, I will not be ordering again!

I discovered spice 6 in October 2019 and was thrilled to find it again in august 2021. the kitchen is a mix of North Indian and Nepalese with interesting skyalaya crumble as well as the 6 main seasons. the dishes. are extremely tasty, you can taste the subtle cocosnus in butter huhn and the lamb rogan is excellent. I have never experienced such extremely crispy poppadome as this perfection. the restaurant makes a roaring-paurier trade after the behavior-changing effects of Covid-19, but as we get this pandemic under control, they give back for the special culinary experience that this attractive restaurant can offer. the staff is absolutely charming and helpful in their desire to make their...

"before visiting myself, I had called to book a table and demand a certain type of sitting space to meet our needs. the dame over the phone advised that she could not guarantee that a table, as the restaurant fills quickly. Although this can be their policy, I cannot understand the point of booking if they cannot meet the needs of their customers. the point of booking is to prepare the restaurant for the customers and their specifications. we booked. the caffe itself is on the street and parking can be something to be superior if they are not familiar with the opposite. I believe that the parking space next to the pavement on Sunday or the rest of the week after a certain time that I cannot remember is free. once ordered, the food came hot and the staff was nice and accommodating. but I and my friend both felt sick when we ate the sausages and felt bad all day. the sausages were 80 cattle and 20 chickens, as we said. perhaps the type of oil that was used or something else there was simply a strange after taste that was not paleable for both of us. the portions themselves are quite larger, enough to fill them. the restaurant itself was packed almost completely around a few hours into the opening, so it seems like a popular place. the tables themselves are not big, so we do not have much space to move around objects, although there is not much of an annoying for us to eat. the coffees were made according to my opinion quickly and to a good standard. I also ordered from this caffe in my house and the food came as it looked in person."
