I only ever ordered a Chicken biryani as it come delivered for a tenner. I’d say there was certainly no spirit fire other than a basic tossing in a pan when my meal arrived in a plastic. Their traditional laid back approach sets them far behind in brownie points. Ver carta

After a long day my husband and I picked up some curry to cheer ourselves up and it worked! We had the sag aloo, brinjal bhaji, mushroom bhaji and chana masala. Genuinely can’t choose a favourite as they were all so delicious. Really nicely spiced and delicately flavoured. Will return thank you very much! I recently tried the lamb biryani, and it was a delightful experience. The texture of the rice was spot on—perfectly cooked and fluffy. So pleased I decided to drop in on my way home to pick up some dinner. I ordered a lamb Dhansak and chicken tikka zaffrani with pilau rice, a plain naan, and onion bhajis on the side. I also ordered a coffee to drink while I waited but my food was ready promptly so I downed the second half! Really friendly, polite and attentive service. Pleasant atmosphere in the restaurant. Fair prices. The food is outstanding most importantly though spiced to perfection, delicate and deep flavours, fresh tasting and with tender meat. Would recommend 100%.
